The French Market Colts Neck

This restaurant is tucked out of sight behind other stores in a small mall. The offerings are numerous and well-prepared. The unfortunate part is that this quasi-upscale restaurant serves food in cardboard boxes and coffee in paper cups, rather than china. The coffee is dispensed from thermal containers and is lukewarm and stale as the day wears on (10:30 am). For the money, they should offer china plates and cups. I came to the French market when I was driving home and my GPS took me a route I never been down before. Never having been in the area I pulled into the complex the French market is in to see if there were any food spots. I saw this place and figured it would be worth trying whatever they had.I went inside and the staff was pretty friendly. We're regular customers at the Rumson location but it's a bit far for us. We found out recently there is a new location and we gave it a visit. Never disappoint. Fresh bread, pastry and there sandwiches are amazing. I just wish they have a bigger outdoors seating area.
