“I came to the establishment early as I was working in the area I ended up bringing home a bunch of different things home for my wife who is from Honduras. She loved everything I bought and two days later we went back she loaded up on nearly everything they had and I can definitely say we found our new spot to eat and cater from. The staff was extremely eager to help with all the questions we had all I can say is if you’re in the area give this spot a try you won’t regret it.Kid-friendliness: We had our 4 year old son the kind women gave my son a lollipop that made his time there a lot more fun“

“I've eaten at the Rise n Shine on occasion and find it's no frills local hometown vibe inviting. I prefer sitting at the counter old school and watching the traffic go by as I enjoy a delicious omlette. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.“

“I have been coming to Steady Hand since the summer. Love the rotating menu options but the pistachio latte has been my favorite. So much my favorite that I also had to purchase the pistachio Good Good syrup to make it at home! And also can’t forget to mention Ashley, the owner, who is so friendly and always down for a chat while she is whipping up your drink!“

Also, the chipotle sammie had one of the best chipotle sauces I've had in my life (and I'm a big self proclaimed chipotle flavor connoisseur). “My family and I love this place. It always feels like home. My toddlers love the eggs, pancakes and cookies. I have recently had the French toast muffin, omelettes, pancakes… (yes we go often). Everything is delish. I get an iced coffee with oat milk and it is the ONlY place I can get coffee without needed sweeteners. The coffee is so fresh, every single time. Whether I’m running in before school drop off, in the middle of the day before meetings, or after school to grab a snack with my kids, there’s something new and delicious to try. “This is a A-Class place to stay. Well-kept rooms & furniture, comfortable mattress, all kept clean. Amenities in bathroom, etc. There is a kitchen (with room in refrigerator to store my own food also). They serve breakfast with many choices of eggs and oatmeal, plus juice, etc., in the adjacent spacious dining room And the adjacent entry-room (before going upstairs) contains a billiards table and a (well-tuned, playable) piano. (I used/enjoyed the latter). Linda and Bill both were warm and accommodating of all my quirky needs. I highly recommend it and them.“

“Try the blueberry pancakes BECAUSE they are more than just regular pancakes with lonely blueberries on top. If you are a fool for French Toast GO HERE because their selections will make you wanna bury your face in the plate. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. “I have been coming here for a few years now. The owner Joe is such a sweet soul and so patient. Their gelato is always amazing with great flavors which change seasonally. Their biscotti is delicious and goes great with their affogatos and espressos. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I drive over an hour just to get gelato here.“

“I have loved this place since the original in Little Silver when they were lunch and a small dinner venue. They had the best homemade soup. Now that they have expanded and our primarily breakfast and lunch the are still amazing. And I've been to multiple....Toms River, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Cherry Hill, etc. Consistent no matter which one you go to. And the coffee is amazing too. I love my French presses!“

“Perfect relaxing breakfast with the family. Seated right away on a Wednesday morning. Friendly wait staff and great service. Ordered The big easy benedict and huevos rancheros, a French press, German chocolate latte and 3 different hot chocolates (for the kiddos). Everything was delicious and fresh. The price is very good if not better than most common diners in this area. The food and coffee is 1000% better too. This is our favorite breakfast place when we visit NJ. Definitely recommend.“

“A great small coffee spot in Ocean Grove! Friendly staff and owner, great coffee, and a decent selection of teas. They display local art and have a couch and tables for seating. They offer good food that rotates with the season (quiche is my favorite).They also offer FREE bananas if you buy something! FREE BANANAS! That is awesome!“

“A plant oasis that happens to also be a coffee shop. This place is filled with plants from every nook and cranny it has to offer. Along with all the plants they sell a bunch of other little items local places/people have made. I ordered the coco matcha and it was splendidly piping hot. It felt so warming as I drank it on this cold day. This place has pastries and toast items available to eat. I would say don't plan on trying to work or eat here. There is only one table in the front of the room and then a bench along the one wall.“

“My last west coast trip spoiled me, and I'm on a quest to find amazing coffee near me (open to recommendations), so I'm trying new coffee places as much as I can. Busy Bee is inside a gas station, and has very good coffee. I had a caramel macchiato and it was a solid 7.5/10 (my coffee rating scale is as arbitrary as myself). There's also a generous collection of food offerings - I tried something similar to a deviled sausage (I didn't get its name) and it was delicious.“

“Great little coffee shop on Main Street in Bradley Beach. It can be easy to miss between the hustle and bustle of the brewery and breakfast restaurant next-door but keep an eye out for Paired. I stopped in on a Saturday morning just for some coffee and the folks behind the counter were pretty busy, but the service was fast and very friendly. I am more of a classic ice coffee person and they serve cold brew but that wasn't enough for me to knock off a star. A little on the pricier side but it is understandable because I ordered a cold brew and the location. So make your way to Bradley Beach and grab some coffee and snacks from this great new place.“

“Hands down, best peanut butter chocolate combo cups/ball I've ever had in my life. My hubs and I hid the box from our teenagers. I've had the cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and brownie cookies. “I’ve been coming to LUK for over a year now and I wish I knew about them sooner. Every single meal my family and I have ordered is 100% clean, fresh and ACTUALLY tastes amazing. Coming from someone who used to eat McDonalds everyday and only enjoyed fries foods…LUK is one of the main reasons I was so successful in my lifestyle change and developing healthier habits.Just the other day my step daughter was complaining about a sore throat and one of the owners went out of her way to make a specialty drink just for her and she loved it! I go out to eat here 2-4 times per week and I would go every single day if I could! The staff is so sweet and kind! “Have lived in NJ for almost 25 years. This is by far THE BEST pork roll egg and cheese I have had in the state. The way Johnny assembles this sandwich is perfection. Every bite you take from one of his sandwiches literally gets better as you are finishing it. From the fresh rolls, and freshly sliced pork roll to a perfectly cooked egg with just the right amount of cheese and SPK to hold it together. I can literally say as I took a bite from this sandwich my exact words were “WOW”. I’ll be coming at least once a week from Belmar just to get my fix. Keep killing it Johnny this place is awesome!“

“Really good donuts. I get Too Good to Go from here all the time. If you’re considering trying, go for it. You won’t be disappointed. You get four random donuts with it and they’re always good. The maple bacon and chocolate donuts are my favorites but everything I’ve tried from here is good. Def try the Too Good to Go app for this place because it’s more than worth it. They have a huge selection of donuts“

“Very nice place, and worth a visit if you are in the area of Spring Lake! I enjoyed a large, hot and flavorful cup of Assam black tea. However, they have lots of coffee, sweet chai lattes, matcha, hazelnut, vanilla and other flavors of syrup for... so many good drinks to choose from in three varieties: hot, iced and frozen. Go there. There's good parking in front especially before 9am. It's friendly and people seem to bring their dogs which is fun to see. Also, lots of baby carriages and strollers with moms boosting up their caffeine to help get them through the day. Good decor reflecting the ocean with shells and driftwood, and some products for sale such as candles and napkins printed with cute sayings. Overall, it made me happy to go there. I'd love to go again!Parking: There is easy, 3-hour, free, street parking right in front of the coffee shop. It begins at 9am. You can park conveniently with no worries, especially if you are an early bird like I am. ?“

“Food was super fresh and healthy. I ordered a sabich sandwich, a house salad and a cappuccino. The sabich was amazing. For the salad I would request the dressing on the side next time because they put on too much dressing (was delicious anyway). I totally appreciated the 1970 decore. Everything was delicious with a homemade touch. I usually leave restaurants feeling sick because the food is so processed but not here, I left feeling amazing :)“

“I forgot to order our favorite spinach and bacon quiche from Sunburst Pie Co. to bring for Christmas brunch. Ran in at 9 am on Christmas Eve 2023, grabbing the last quiche, which was crabmeat and asparagus. What a hit! It was devoured and raved about. I will be ordering this for the holidays next year, for sure. We love their blueberry and choc chip scones too.“

“My go to coffee spot whenever I visit Red Bank. The family I stay with try to take me to starbies and I MAKE THEM go to Rook. The staff were patient with my boomers who didn't understand the menu. I like that it's an in and out kinda place. Get your Joe and bounce! Rook crew, you RULE!!“

“Love Rook coffee in Wall and have been there when in the area. Just wanted to share, that at my last visit our order was like drinking milk and water, and at the cost of two coffees, it is unacceptable. I thought of going back and asking for replacements, but our server was so sweet and I felt uncomfortable. In hindsight, I made a mistake in not doing that. I will definitely go back because I love the coffee!! Just an off day.“

“Ordered 20 breakfast sandwiches to bring to a work party. They had them ready for me right at 6:30am and even cut them in halves (as requested) and labeled what each was. They also packed up ketchup, salt, pepper, and napkins for me to take. The sandwiches were great. Their food is always great, classic breakfast food, but this time they really went above and beyond and I appreciated it a ton.“

“Passed by as we were driving to Asbury Park and had to stop and try them. I follow them on IG and love to see all their posts of their delicious looking donuts. Walked in and on the right of the store they have a display of all the current donuts. They have so many different varieties! Most of them I believe are cake donuts, but their eclair type donuts are yeast donuts. I like both types, I don't discriminate any type of donut. The variety was overwhelming....do I get a seasonal pumpkin cheesecake, or a classic chocolate frosted with sprinkles??? It took us a good while to decide on the one. We ended up getting a chocolate frosted eclair donut. OMG....it was a solid choice. It was big, enough for us to split. It was warm and just so good. They split their filled donuts in half instead of injecting them with cream. There was a good amount of cream to donut ratio. The donut was so fresh. I definitely want to try other types, but since it was not a planned stop and we were going to be eating in a little bit. Looking forward to going back and trying some other varieties.“

“This Starbucks location is great! Large parking lot and store with plenty of space for working or studying. All seats have outlets, and the tables even have hooks underneath for your bags! The seating is comfortable and the tables are always clean. The staff is nice here, and the drinks always come out quickly. The drive through is also fast, and unlike some locations, won't block in all parking spots if the line is long. This is a great location if you're looking for a good spot to work or meet up with a group.“

“Gorgeous, charming little cafe with beautiful pastries and delicious small plates. Had to knock off a star, partially due to the lackluster service, but mostly for the typos. If your whole gimmick is being a French style cafe and market, you should probably spell the French words on your menus correctly. Love absolutely everything else about this place though!“

“I’m not in the area often, but when I am I make sure to stop by Coffee Surf. The coconut cold brew is great. Staff is always super friendly. If you like more dessert like drinks they definitely have you covered with all the different crazy lattes they can make.“
