“Normally go to their Middletown location and they always get our orders right. My wife gave birth this weekend, so we order from Oakhurts since it was the closest location to the hospital. My wife was craving her go to sandwich. Sadly, Brennan’s left off the bacon and pickles on her order, which we paid extra for. All she wanted was her correct order, so we are disappointed she didn’t get what she ordered after all she went through delivering our baby. We reached out to the restaurant asking for a credit back for the extra items we purchased that were not included on the sandwich and surprisingly never heard back. It’s only a few bucks, but we should have to pay for items that Brennan’s forgot to include.“
“Another Starbucks branch with indoor and outdoor tables. It offers a good place to drink your favorite drinks and do some jobs or meetings. There is a limited number of tables inside and they need to take more care about the cleanliness of the tables and chairs but it is convenient overall.“

“I came to the establishment early as I was working in the area I ended up bringing home a bunch of different things home for my wife who is from Honduras. She loved everything I bought and two days later we went back she loaded up on nearly everything they had and I can definitely say we found our new spot to eat and cater from. “I've eaten at the Rise n Shine on occasion and find it's no frills local hometown vibe inviting. I prefer sitting at the counter old school and watching the traffic go by as I enjoy a delicious omlette. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.“

“Booskerdoo Middletown donated hot chocolate for our local elementary school holiday event. It was such a hit! The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! “When you first walk in you immediately notice a wonderful smell , it's hard to walk away. Luckily for us there was no wait but I've been told there usually is and I can see why , plus the space is not that big. This cozy little spot won over a customer today. I loved that they have a bakery with freshly baked goodies that you can take to go. My husband and daughter sat right next to their book shelf and to our surprise they had toddler books that entertained my 3 year old while we waited for our meal . I ordered the log cabin latte to start , the waiter recommended it and it was delicious , also very interesting . It's a latte with a smoked espresso bacon on it, don't ask me why but it works - it gives the latte an amazing smokey flavor and it tastes great (featured in my pictures) . To eat my husband and I shared their blueberry pancakes , they were sold out of the pumpkin pancakes (guess I'll have to come back ) the pancakes were good. I also ordered the avocado toast with an over easy egg and it was great. My husband had the torta and he enjoyed it. I've got to say we enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back . I wish I had space for a pastry but I'll get that next time.“

“My family and I love this place. It always feels like home. My toddlers love the eggs, pancakes and cookies. I have recently had the French toast muffin, omelettes, pancakes… (yes we go often). Everything is delish. I get an iced coffee with oat milk and it is the ONlY place I can get coffee without needed sweeteners. The coffee is so fresh, every single time. Whether I’m running in before school drop off, in the middle of the day before meetings, or after school to grab a snack with my kids, there’s something new and delicious to try. “This is a A-Class place to stay. Well-kept rooms & furniture, comfortable mattress, all kept clean. Amenities in bathroom, etc. There is a kitchen (with room in refrigerator to store my own food also). They serve breakfast with many choices of eggs and oatmeal, plus juice, etc., in the adjacent spacious dining room And the adjacent entry-room (before going upstairs) contains a billiards table and a (well-tuned, playable) piano. (I used/enjoyed the latter). Linda and Bill both were warm and accommodating of all my quirky needs. I highly recommend it and them.“
“I have been coming here for a few years now. The owner Joe is such a sweet soul and so patient. Their gelato is always amazing with great flavors which change seasonally. Their biscotti is delicious and goes great with their affogatos and espressos. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I drive over an hour just to get gelato here.“
“I have loved this place since the original in Little Silver when they were lunch and a small dinner venue. They had the best homemade soup. Now that they have expanded and our primarily breakfast and lunch the are still amazing. And I've been to multiple....Toms River, Long Branch, Sea Girt, Cherry Hill, etc. Consistent no matter which one you go to. And the coffee is amazing too. I love my French presses!“

Ordered The big easy benedict and huevos rancheros, a French press, German chocolate latte and 3 different hot chocolates (for the kiddos). Everything was delicious and fresh. The price is very good if not better than most common diners in this area. The food and coffee is 1000% better too. This is our favorite breakfast place when we visit NJ. Definitely recommend.“

“A plant oasis that happens to also be a coffee shop. This place is filled with plants from every nook and cranny it has to offer. Along with all the plants they sell a bunch of other little items local places/people have made. I ordered the coco matcha and it was splendidly piping hot. It felt so warming as I drank it on this cold day. This place has pastries and toast items available to eat. I would say don't plan on trying to work or eat here. There is only one table in the front of the room and then a bench along the one wall.“

Busy Bee is inside a gas station, and has very good coffee. I had a caramel macchiato and it was a solid 7.5/10 (my coffee rating scale is as arbitrary as myself). There's also a generous collection of food offerings - I tried something similar to a deviled sausage (I didn't get its name) and it was delicious.“
“Very good breakfast. Hit the spot. Went around 10:30 place was full but was able to get a seat pretty quickly. I had a belly buster omelet and my mother had eggs over easy with a ham steak. We both had coffee. Hers was nice mine was hot. Our bill was roughly 10 dollars cheaper than most of the breakfast places we go to, only catch is CASH ONLY - but super worth it.“
“Great little coffee shop on Main Street in Bradley Beach. It can be easy to miss between the hustle and bustle of the brewery and breakfast restaurant next-door but keep an eye out for Paired. I stopped in on a Saturday morning just for some coffee and the folks behind the counter were pretty busy, but the service was fast and very friendly. I am more of a classic ice coffee person and they serve cold brew but that wasn't enough for me to knock off a star. A little on the pricier side but it is understandable because I ordered a cold brew and the location. So make your way to Bradley Beach and grab some coffee and snacks from this great new place.“

“Have lived in NJ for almost 25 years. This is by far THE BEST pork roll egg and cheese I have had in the state. The way Johnny assembles this sandwich is perfection. Every bite you take from one of his sandwiches literally gets better as you are finishing it. From the fresh rolls, and freshly sliced pork roll to a perfectly cooked egg with just the right amount of cheese and SPK to hold it together. “Very nice place, and worth a visit if you are in the area of Spring Lake! I enjoyed a large, hot and flavorful cup of Assam black tea. However, they have lots of coffee, sweet chai lattes, matcha, hazelnut, vanilla and other flavors of syrup for... so many good drinks to choose from in three varieties: hot, iced and frozen. Go there. There's good parking in front especially before 9am. It's friendly and people seem to bring their dogs which is fun to see. Also, lots of baby carriages and strollers with moms boosting up their caffeine to help get them through the day. Good decor reflecting the ocean with shells and driftwood, and some products for sale such as candles and napkins printed with cute sayings. Overall, it made me happy to go there. I'd love to go again!Parking: There is easy, 3-hour, free, street parking right in front of the coffee shop. It begins at 9am. You can park conveniently with no worries, especially if you are an early bird like I am. ?“

“Food was super fresh and healthy. I ordered a sabich sandwich, a house salad and a cappuccino. The sabich was amazing. For the salad I would request the dressing on the side next time because they put on too much dressing (was delicious anyway). I totally appreciated the 1970 decore. Everything was delicious with a homemade touch. I usually leave restaurants feeling sick because the food is so processed but not here, I left feeling amazing :)“

“Ordered 20 breakfast sandwiches to bring to a work party. They had them ready for me right at 6:30am and even cut them in halves (as requested) and labeled what each was. They also packed up ketchup, salt, pepper, and napkins for me to take. The sandwiches were great. Their food is always great, classic breakfast food, but this time they really went above and beyond and I appreciated it a ton.“
