“Came to check out this place with my co-worker one day and ordered a variety of different rolls and sashimi. The one that I enjoyed the most was the Yummy Maki roll. I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. Other than that I had a pleasant experience coming here and wouldn't mind coming again. The ambience of the restaurant is very quiet and you could get a good view of the sushi bar depending on where you sit.“

Had to throw everything in the garbage today - sushi rolls (spicy tuna and spicy salmon) did not smell fresh at all, looked very different. Ramen soup was disguisting. We used to love this place, truly loved. But last couple of times food seems not the same. Also Doordash took two hours to deliver instead of promised 45 min- have a feeling they were looking for fresh fish and could not find it - so result was obvious. Our server, Alisa, was exceptional—her sweetness, attentiveness, and vibrant personality truly enhanced our dining experience.As for the culinary delights, the vegetarian selections were plentiful and artfully presented. The Panna water, served in a large bottle, offered a refreshing rather than plain old chlorine water. Our choices included the adadashi tofu, a savory veg fried rice enriched with tofu, a zesty Pad Thai accompanied by tofu, a spicy assortment of mixed vegetable sushi, and a comforting bowl of miso soup.The prospect of returning to Sogo is a must; I was thoroughly charmed by the entire experience. “We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. The owner was accommodating and extremely friendly; she made sure to check on us several times during the meal. Highly recommend!“
“My husband and I live near by & finally went to Asahi Sushi Ramen! The service was wonderful, they were quick and answered any questions we had. The food was a 10/10 it looked & tasted delicious. It’s DEFINITELY worth stopping by. They have prices you can’t beat! The chicken teriyaki came out HOT (also came with a side salad & side of rice) and the presentation was great, the chicken ramen came in a large bowl and I had leftovers to take home! :)“
“If I could give this place a 10 I would. We used to go to this intimate BYO sushi place every friday on the way home from work. We would meet at the sushi bar and get to say hi to the regulars...felt like home. The owners are amazing, welcoming and remember their customers...what we like and don't like. I never had to tell them I wanted no ginger or a diet coke because they remembered exactly what I like. The fish is so fresh and the menu is very creative. The sushi chef puts his heart into every dish and is so happy for you to come up before you go to let him know how you loved your meal. This is our go-to when we have friends in town because we always know we will have a consistent level 10 meal and a really fun time. We miss going every week since we moved but we make sure to go visit our sushi fam as much as possible because we were so spoiled by them!“

“It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“

My girlfriend and I ordered the spicy cucumber salad, hamachi, and million dollar roll. The spicy cucumber salad was fresh and a great way to start. The hamachi was really good, the fish was fresh and the skin was nice and crispy. The million dollar roll was really good. You can definitely tell quality ingredients were being used. “We ordered from Blue Wazabi many times and always enjoy their delicious sushi, but have not had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant until tonight. We walked in on a busy Saturday evening and the place was packed! We did not have a reservation and were seated at the bar. The dishes were all amazing as usual, but the service was truly impressive. “Monster Sushi is a delicious little sushi spot in downtown Morristown. As they are BYOB, you should definitely pick up your favorite beer or sake to pair with the bento box or round of fresh sushi. Their beef negimaki is ? and their specialty rolls are probably the best in town.“

“First at buffet soon they opened. Place was super clean..food was hot and steamy. Everything was fresh. My favorite was the teriyaki chicken, oxtails, cheesecake, vermicelli abalone, beef short ribs, pork belly, and the salad bar. Kiwi and pineapples were super sweet and juicy.. strawberries and cantaloupe not so much. All in all everything was yummy EXCEPT the lobster... didn't like the mushy texture at ALL...worth the money. I spent 2 1/2 hours there and enjoyed my food. 9/10“
“I come here almost every day I work in the mall, which is once or twice a weekend. The price can't be beat compared to the rest of the food court. You'll pay a half and get better, handmade food. The restaurant is very chic and cozy, making your dining experience intimate. The menu contains several options for gluten-free and vegetarian eaters, but I did bring my own gf soy sauce out of habit when eating sushi-that's just how I roll. The presentation of our sushi was simple and neat, so I couldn't wait to dig in. The vegetables were fresh, and the rolls weren't a mess like I've experienced at other eateries. “Great sushi, always made fresh; however, the waiters rush you to get out of the restaurant from the moment you sit down (even when the restaurant is not busy). I felt as if I was being watched as I ate my meal and the second I took my last bite, the waiters quickly rushed over to clear my table as I was still chewing. This has happened every time I have been to this restaurant & it is very invasive. I understand that they have a 100 minute limit, but every time I have been, I’ve barely spent an hour there.
