We recently held a fundraising gala using Encore Catering. Not only did they take care of the food but also the various rentals we needed. It made it so much easier for us. Susan at Encore helped us plan for our 100-guest wedding at 18Label Studios in Montclair, NJ. Encore is very familiar with the venue which made the day-of service seamless. Every single member of the staff was kind, attentive and professional. We loved our bridal party attendant Pam, she took such good care of us all night long. The food was so delicious and exceeded our expectations! In the days and weeks after our wedding we kept getting rave reviews from friends and family. Our favorite items were the taco bar, buffalo chicken pop, French onion soup pretzel bite, Mediterranean station especially the salmon and falafel, and the short rib. The bartenders did a delicious Paloma, margarita and espresso martini for us. Yum!

Encore catered a celebration of life that I attended, and the food was fantastic. Anne and Roger were the on-site staff, and from start to finish they were superb. Organized, professional, friendly, and efficient. They floated in the background, making sure the needs of every guest were met. They even wrapped up food for the band members and out-of-town guests to take away for dinner! Can't recommend them highly enough for making this very difficult day a success.

They served tray after tray of a variety of culinary delights, always with a smile. Encore catering did our rescheduled wedding in a backyard August 2021 and from the initial email, Sandy was fantastic to work with! She was warm, responsive, provided great recommendations, and was very patient as we made a number of changes! She even came out for a site visit which really made us feel comfortable! The staff came onsite like a well oiled machine and took over the kitchen with German like precision and the food was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We did a cocktail style reception and people are still talking about how creative, fun and delicious the food was! The staff was professional, attentive, and we did not want for anything!Thank you for everything and we will definitely be calling Encore for any future catering needs!

After choosing The Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds as my venue, I started looking for catering companies I knew I was going to use Encore for my wedding. Their reviews are AMAZING and they did not disappoint. From the start Sandy was amazing! She answered all my questions and helped me create a vision for my wedding day and then she exceeded all expectations. The linens and chairs were gorgeous, and the food was to die for! We had three cocktail stations and passed hors d'oeuvres, the themed dinner stations were so good that I can't pick a favorite! I received compliments on the food all night and for days following the wedding. Guests also spoke so highly of the staff and how friendly they were. Elaine was my maitre'd and she made sure everything was perfect at all times. Pam was mine and my husbands personal server and she NEVER missed a beat making sure we had everything we could possibly need. I can't rave about them enough. The owners Karen and Lisa are amazing!!!

From the appetizers to dessert the food was absolutely delicious! The staff was courteous and friendly and did a beautiful job designing the platters and buffet stations.

encore catered my wedding at liberty hall museum. we used then because they have a partnership with the museum for events. our sales rep, Cait, was extremely difficult to work with throughout the process. emails and texts would take days to get an actual response. the day of our wedding, encore made the day difficult from the moment they started setting up. we requested ivory linens for the round tables, they brought sage green. when my mom brought the mistake to their attention, no one cared. our maitre d' was nowhere to be found all day until it was time to settle the bill, which was a shitshow. Cait convinced us to not pay the bill in full prior to the wedding because we would be charged a fee for credit card payments over a certain amount. instead, she told us to pay three quarters of our total in advance and write a check for the remainder to pay the day of. when my mom went to settle this, we realized Cait told us a different amount than what the maitre d' had written down in her books. cait was called, and she told the maitre d' to just leave it be and we would address the situation the following business day. however, as soon as she hung up, the maitre d' ignored the conversation and insisted on payment. at this point, she saw me and my husband about to get in our limo to leave, and told my mom she would stop us because she needs to get paid first. my mom DIDNT GET TO SEND US OFF because she had to just write a check. this company is extremely unprofessional. do not use them.

I cannot say enough good things about Encore Catering. We had an amazing experience with them under a very stressful situation. We had to find a brand new caterer for my daughter’s 150 guest wedding with less than two months lead time. We worked with Sandy who was AMAZING. She was so knowledgeable, service oriented, and a calming force. I cannot say enough good things about her. She provided valuable insights, worked with us to create a fantastic menu, handled all of our rental needs and worked collaboratively with the venue to ensure everything was perfect. As last minute curve balls arose, she calmly addressed them and kept us apprised via amazingly prompt emails and phone calls. Encore’s food is outstanding. From the cocktail hour's plentiful passed hor d’oeveres (that never stopped they kept coming and coming!) and beautiful stations, to the artisitic and yummy salad, to the main course entrees and passed mini desserts, everything was delicious. Besides being delicious, Encore’s presentation is BEAUTIFUL! The staff that worked our event were all super courteous, professional and service oriented. Two weeks later, our guests continue to rave about the food and service Encore Catering provided. I highly recommend them without any reservation, you won’t be disappointed. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We first met with Encore more than 2 years ago. Because of COVID we had to reschedule our daughter’s wedding twice. This weekend we held the wedding and our guests raved about the quality and presentation of our food. Encore had a challenge. Our food was made in their kitchen and prepped and heated on site. Despite this situation, the food was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. We had several “foodies” at the wedding and they were very impressed. The staff were courteous and very focused on meeting, and exceeding, our expectations. Special shout out to site manager Andrea. You defined exceptional service. Thank you for taking care of our family and guests!! Few people expect good food at a wedding. Our guests were pleasantly surprised!
