The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, with a beautiful view of the Famous RT.17!!!The standout of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Damire, one of the restaurant’s employees. Damire’s attention to detail and genuine care for my dining experience truly made my visit memorable. “Food Baby donuts are bringing me out of review writing retirement! I want to make sure to spread the word so Food Baby can get a storefront and we won't have to wait a week to get some of this heart-shaped yumminess!The week I noticed Food Baby the flavors were all fruit-infused. Grapefruit. Strawberry. Blueberry. Cherry. Peach. Here's what I tried...The Old Fashioned: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, glazed and grapefruit infused. Not too sweet, nothing artificial, smelled amazing. Definitely my favorite. These are like donuts from my childhood. Glad I got two of these to share. So good. The Classic frosted: soft inside and out, liberally covered in all natural frosting (no food dyes here) I picked Strawberry Oat Milk and Blueberry Oat Milk. Yum. The Stuffed Classic: their version of a jelly donut. I got the Strawberry and the jelly inside was rolled into the dough so nothing squirted out as you ate. Delicately covered in sugar. Absolutely delicious and another fave. I did share this box (with non-vegans, and they loved them too!) but I'm excited to order again and have some all to myself. It's probably a good thing (for my pants, ahem) that there isn't a storefront and you do need to think ahead and order online for pickup on Sunday. “If you've been around NYC and vegetarian, you have almost definitely heard of Dirt Candy. It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“

“Amazing place! My brother and I are both vegan and have a ton of allergies and the wait staff was super accommodating. The food is spectacular too - I took 2 animal eaters and a vegetarian to the restaurant and they couldn't tell the difference between the kebabs and meat. We had the "chicken", "beef", and kofta kebabs, along with the "chicken" gyros, "lamb" cigars, and hummus. I was a big fan of all the kebabs, and thought the "chicken" gyros were amazing too. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. “Before I even lived in the neighborhood Jajaja was easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I have brought so many friends here because it is perfect from anywhere to a date night to a chill lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Their cocktails are amazing especially their version of an espresso martini. All of the staff is so friendly and always make sure you're taken care of at all times. On top of everything and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Although I am not vegan anymore, I still can call this my favorite restaurant because they do everything on their menu so well and it's rare in my experience where vegan food is indistinguishable from non-plant based food and my favorite is the enchiladas mole. I have returned several times to give it a chance since the food is good. We always get one particular server Eli who is absolutely terrible and can use customer service training. To get a hello or even a smile is a stretch but worse forgets to bring out the food and by the time he does it’s cold. Today is the last time I’m will be coming here… hopefully the owner will put more attention to the service. The dumplings were top notch- they were steamed to perfection and the bottom was crispy and that chilli oil… speechless. “Easily one of my favorite al vegan spots in Manhattan (and there are plenty to chose from). Went for brunch with non-vegan friends and family and EVERYONE loved it - clean plate club all around. Highlight for me was easily the corn ribs. Don't pass on the churros either. Family loved the nachos. Great atmosphere too, vibey without the music blasting so you can actually have a nice conversation. Definitely one of my favorite spots to date.“

“Had seen this pop up on instagram and looked absolutely amazing, so made a reservation here for my first night in NYC. I am always up to try a 100% gluten free restaurant, especially when it is entirely plant-based since I am dairy free as well! It’s a rare occasion where I can order anything on the menu and the experience did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and despite being very busy, I never felt as if I was kept waiting. I opted for the nachos since I couldn’t remember the last time I was able to order nachos at a restaurant. What arrived was something resembling a work of art–a tower of nachos stacked layer by layer with toppings–guacamole, vegan chorizo - so good!, vegan queso, vegan sour cream, beans, salsa, jalapenos. The portion was way too big just for one person so it’s all that I ordered that evening, even though I had been eyeing the empanadas (which I ended up ordering for lunch a few days later bc I couldn’t get them out of my mind). I’d say they were just okay, but I’m glad I tried them. The nachos definitely take the cake and I would order them again without a doubt.
