“The food is sooo good?, if you want some burgers and fries pls skip the other fast food places and go to Jerrell’s, it tastes better and is better for you! The vibe is so fun in there and the employees are so sweet and friendly, especially Zierra!!“
“Joey No Nuts has been a longtime favorite of mine, as someone who was often concerned about the presence of nuts in coffee or other products from other bakeries, Joey No Nuts was a huge relief to find. Not only do they pride themselves on their allergy safe offerings, their service, food quality, and community involvement is unmatched in Hoboken. If you want Actually good coffee that is free from nut allergens, I cannot recommend this cafe more.Dietary restrictions: Joey No Nuts is nut-free, thus the absolutely excellent name of the cafe. They are happy to provide an unmatched quality of nut free offerings at their inviting cafe.“
“It’s a pricy place, but the smoothies and juices here are good. It’s become my go to place in Hoboken because their products are fresher than other similar places. There are enough good options here that I rarely get the same thing two times in a row. The rewards system is worth signing up for.“
“One of the tastiest vegan pizzas I’ve hadI got a half and half margarita and BBQ Jackfruit.Their marinara sauce is just as delicious. The host and the servers were both nice.It seems like a cool sports bar to hangout with a bunch of friends. You can watch a game or play pool.We ended up choosing a few other options before coming here, because the number of reviews were higher elsewhere, but this place definitely was the best option!Vegetarian options: The Pizza menu is all vegan.“
“Stopped in for a smoothie & ended up also buying a wheatgrass shot & several healthy desserts. Smoothie was delicious and I was able to customize mine which I like. My only feedback to the owners is to put up a full list of all available ingredients for custom smoothies. Otherwise, great quality, selection & service.“
“Good price. Dope little spot on 2nd and Washington. Good location. Great outdoor space. It's your basics açaí bowl. Can't really screw that up unless it isn't fresh no complaints. Service is good. Very quiet but I'm not looking for a friend just some good açaí.“
“If you've been around NYC and vegetarian, you have almost definitely heard of Dirt Candy. It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“
“Came here on a Tuesday evening and I strongly suggest visiting this establishment! It boasts a charming and comfortable atmosphere, good music and great with attentive staff providing excellent customer service. I highly advise making a reservation; we arrived to find it empty, but within five minutes, it was bustling with people.“
“After having enjoyed Bersi's eye-poppingly large platters that feed 3-4 people for $20-60 in total, not even Ras's lunch special ($18 bowls) seemed like a good deal. I did prefer the collard greens at Ras over Bersi's though. (Too bad I didn't try the injera at Ras for a comparison.) All that said, I did enjoy the Bole Bowl: the crunchy soy crumbles were a fun textural element, and the avocado injected creaminess into the mix. FYI, they have a couple of beverages with honey: honey wine and hard kombucha. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-08“
“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“
“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“
“Bunna Cafe has some great Ethiopian food and is exclusively a vegetarian place on top of that (I don't know about most people but I personally love my meat). However, despite not serving meat, Bunna Cafe still delivers flavor at great prices and portion sizes. My favorites were the spicy lentil and mushroom one but I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. The hospitality was exceptional as well. No complaints here!“
“One of the most upscale vegan restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of going to. Terrific Asian foods with veggie flair, and unqiue cocktails to boot. Try the Bang Bang Broccoli and thank me later... its tempura heaven!Vegetarian options: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!Dietary restrictions: An all vegan menu in midtown Manhattan!“
“Lunch at abcV is surprisingly good as we didn't expect the plant based food menu. I just wanted to grab some lunch with my wife. It was like stumbling into a secret society where the members wield spatulas instead of swords and are on a valiant quest to elevate plant-based eating from mere sustenance to an art form. They don't just serve food; they serve enlightenment on a platter, with a side of cosmic wisdom and a sprinkle of culinary wizardry. Imagine if a Zen garden and a high-end spa had a love child, and that love child decided to open a restaurant with high vibration foods, balance and beauty, wellness, wisdom, and love? So much love, I feel the urge to hug my waiter (consensually, of course) but my wife said no. It's all designed to nurture not just our personal ecosystems but the planetary one as well. Eating here, I can't help but feel like I'm saving the world, one bite at a time. And the food--it's like each dish has been kissed by Mother Nature herself, then sent to culinary school. Who knew vegetables could be this indulgent? I half-expected the broccoli to levitate off my plate, such was the level of enlightenment it apparently possessed. My wife and I shared a dish that I'm convinced had achieved nirvana, and for a moment, I saw the universe in a grain of quinoa. abcV is an experience that transcends the mere act of eating. It's a culinary journey that promises not just a meal but a shift in consciousness. I left with a newfound appreciation for the humble vegetable. And perhaps, just perhaps, a yearning to nurture my own personal and planetary ecosystem--with a bit more wisdom, love, and a dash of deliciousness.“
“Amazing place! My brother and I are both vegan and have a ton of allergies and the wait staff was super accommodating. The food is spectacular too - I took 2 animal eaters and a vegetarian to the restaurant and they couldn't tell the difference between the kebabs and meat. We had the "chicken", "beef", and kofta kebabs, along with the "chicken" gyros, "lamb" cigars, and hummus. I was a big fan of all the kebabs, and thought the "chicken" gyros were amazing too. The desserts were also great - highly recommend.Vegetarian options: It's an entirely vegan restaurant.“
“Ever since Village Crown closed I have missed a truly satisfying kosher restaurant...and now that I am vegan the challenge is greater. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. These were the highlights of a memorable dining experience in a charming place.“
“A Plant-Based ParadiseWillow Vegan Bistro is a dream come true for vegans seeking delicious, familiar comfort food. Their menu expertly transforms classic American dishes into exciting plant-based creations. Expect high-quality ingredients, innovative flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere – a must-try for any vegan in NYC.“
“Stopped by based on all the reviews and they did not disappoint!!! Everything was delicious — ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich, a side of black-eyed peas, and a piña colada. Also tried their cookies which were yum. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, highly recommend if in the area :)Dietary restrictions: All vegan“
“This is a great place for seemingly authentic Caribbean cuisine. The atmosphere is great with great natural lighting in the day and a nice lounge atmosphere in the evening. The food is delicious and they have many classics like mofongo and patacón. The biggest problem is the time it takes to receive the food once ordered. Also I'd highly recommend a reservation if dining in.“
“Before I even lived in the neighborhood Jajaja was easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I have brought so many friends here because it is perfect from anywhere to a date night to a chill lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Their cocktails are amazing especially their version of an espresso martini. All of the staff is so friendly and always make sure you're taken care of at all times. On top of everything and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Although I am not vegan anymore, I still can call this my favorite restaurant because they do everything on their menu so well and it's rare in my experience where vegan food is indistinguishable from non-plant based food and my favorite is the enchiladas mole. Highly recommend!“
“Should not have so much onions in the food. My lunch box comes with 2 pan cakes of suck. I hated them. It's just flour with lots of onions. Most Buddhists don't eat onions and scallions. Salad was fresh. Ambiance good. Quiet with no music.“
“Amazing tacos that are vegan! So delicious with good flavors and ingredients. We had the huilacoche, buffalo flower, and jackfruit carnitas. For drinks the popcorn y pasion was so smoothe, sweet and savory. Interior vibes was also so pretty! Highly recommend!“
“Update from last review- Unfortunately the service has been pretty bad. Service to me is a big part of the overall experience dining out. I have returned several times to give it a chance since the food is good. We always get one particular server Eli who is absolutely terrible and can use customer service training. To get a hello or even a smile is a stretch but worse forgets to bring out the food and by the time he does it’s cold. Today is the last time I’m will be coming here… hopefully the owner will put more attention to the service. Unfortunately, such a beautiful place but you will continue to loose customers if the service doesn’t improve.Old review—-An amazing spot! Vegan or not… you will enjoy! From the ambiance, energy, service and of course food!! James was such a great hosts… so welcoming. Went for brunch and can’t wait to try their dinner options. I’m vegan and it can be challenging finding a good restaurant. I don’t do reviews but had to for this restaurant.. what a gem!“
“Second time here, both for lunch, and both delicious!Had the meatballs over rice with salad and a mint limeade. I asked the server for drink recs and he let me taste all of his faves.Need to come back for the dukka fries because they look amaaaazing. They also still have outdoor seating - Happy to have!Vegetarian options: Lots of flavorful vegetarian options and sauces!“
“Cute Black Owned Vegan restaurant right off Nostrand. I love coming here every time I visit Brooklyn. The music is always on the right playlist, the aesthetics give an inviting atmosphere to want to stay for longer, & the food completes the mission of good vibes. I love their vinyl/retail area, very loungy. They have a cute little bar area as well. I recommend the Bake & Saltfish, French Toast, Lobster Roll, & The Fish Cakes. Each dish is unique in its own way and full of flavor. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They get pretty busy in the evening so make sure you get a reservation.Vegetarian options: All vegan menu“
“Great vegan cuisine--their three dips are amazing, especially their cheese.Loved the two cocktails I ordered, and given their extensive Mezcal list, I know I'll be back for more. Wonderful service, servers and manager were so kind and accommodating! And don't forget to order dessert.Dietary restrictions: Our server asked right away as we ordered, if we had any allergies.“
“It's been a minute since my visit but it's recall a nice atmosphere, great service and tasty food. It was pretty hot inside (winter, heat) and we were seated at a community like table but with friendly folks who gave their vegan dining advice for the area!“
“Great place to enjoy a delicious pizza. I’m super picky when it comes to food. I must say that this place exceeded my expectations.FRIED CALAMARI was amazing and IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN was super crunchy and tasty. Now the CHIMI CHICKEN PIZZA was the BEST pizza I ever had in a long time. Service let by JUNIOR made me feel welcomed… Great place ??“
“Honestly the food is AMAZING! AMAZING !!!!! BUT ...... The environment is not the best. It's tight, too serious, the food isn't the fastest and it is pricey. but I will say the food is worth it. I would just love the ambiance to change. Then it would be perfect. Absolutely perfect!“
“Great food from a vegan business run by vegans. The "chicken legs" are amazing and my daughter said the mac n cheese was the best she has ever tasted. Super friendly and enthusiastic staff. Whilst primarily a take-out there is a small seating area for those wanting to eat in. Highly recommended.“
“The Healthy in Dyckman Juice Bar is one of my new favorites! The variety of food options available is mind boggling and I mean that in a good way. As someone who doesn’t eat dairy, I love it here. My favorite thing I’ve tried so far is the Salmon rice bowl. It’s so healthy, delicious, filling, and well priced! The avocado toast with the eggs was hitting too! You must give this gem a try. Thanks Juan for your great service today.Dietary restrictions: If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or don’t eat dairy this place you’ll feel right at home. Healthy vibes apply.“
“Obsessed. Modern Love is just amazing - best vegan cheese I've ever had. The eggplant parm changed my life. I'm a native new yorker and huge foodie and Modern Love is just truly the real deal - go immediately, whether you're vegan or not!!“
“Easily one of my favorite al vegan spots in Manhattan (and there are plenty to chose from). Went for brunch with non-vegan friends and family and EVERYONE loved it - clean plate club all around. Highlight for me was easily the corn ribs. Don't pass on the churros either. Family loved the nachos. Great atmosphere too, vibey without the music blasting so you can actually have a nice conversation. Definitely one of my favorite spots to date.“
“This is the best restaurant in Midwood in my opinion. The food is fantastic. Some unusual dishes that I have never had before as well as some old favorites that are made much better than anywhere else. Even the mango lassi is better than anywhere else. Don't miss the chaats and the butter chicken! The service is warm and incredible. And the owner is such a delight to talk to. I love this place! I'm so excited to hear that they are delivering during coronavirus epidemic.“
“I have been coming to this establishment since it was legit a box on the block. If you walked too fast you'd miss it...and I'm so excited and impressed on how they've transformed to become such edgy, dateworthy and "Instagrammable" sit down dining restaurant.Prices & Food: very reasonable, includes lunch time specials that won't dent the pockets. I haven't had all of the dishes on the menu but the ones that I have had I enjoyed. I ❤️ the fact that they stay true to their roots regarding heat levels. They don't dummy it down for us NYers..you came there remember! On the flip..they should stay true to their roots and not serve fried chicken wings the way we do up here. That was a miss ?Cleanliness: ? they nailed it! The bathroom decor is something I'd be inspired to copy and VERY clean, smells good, etc. I hold a sanitation certificate so EVERYWHERE I go I'm looking in corners, looking at the ceiling, under the tables..I need to know my area is clean to enjoy my food! 5stars!Service: No complaints. Each server has been attentive and patient; never really hovering to rush me and my party out so much appreciated ?I would very much recommend coming here. Nice for a solo date or bring a party. The place is inviting and seats about 40 people in total I believe. Warm months brings outside dining, never done it, but it looks ?Wheelchair accessibility: Establishment provides outdoor dining and has a ramp! Thoughtful!“
“Having a halal dietary requirement this place was perfect since the entire menu is vegan. I ordered the vegetable dumplings and the truffle rice.. The dumplings were top notch- they were steamed to perfection and the bottom was crispy and that chilli oil… speechless. My favourite has to be the Brussels sprouts- they're saucy yet crispy 10/10.The staff were very friendly shoutout to Luke. Definitely will be coming back when I return to New York.“
“Wanted to try something new and stumbled upon this place. The environment is warm, friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. Staff are polite and sweet. As someone who isn't vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful and delicious food; it's hard to believe it's all vegan. I would definitely return to Next Stop Vegan again.“
“The staff is professional and friendly. Their vegan dishes are beautifully prepared, spiced to perfection and taste delicious. The vegan burger is the best that I have had and better than many beef burgers. The vegan chocolate chip cookie is hands down the best on the city.“
“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“
“Staff knows me on a first name basis and that good work speaks for itself. Thank you.Vegetarian options: it's all what there what you need.Dietary restrictions: it's listedParking: parking on 25th street nyc between Broadway and 6th Avenue.Kid-friendliness: Very polite and courtesy counts.Wheelchair accessibility: there's a ramp.“
“Had an incredible dining experience at Spicy Moon in Bowery! Every dish was a hit, especially the rice noodles which were perfectly cooked, and the chili oil dumplings that had just the right amount of kick. The shiitake and tofu buns were delightful — soft, fluffy, and generously filled. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was beautiful, making each dish not only delicious but also visually appealing. The atmosphere was cozy, with a friendly staff that made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch vegetarian Szechuan cuisine!Shout out to Joanne and her team.“
“Spot is a gem located in the Stuy! The food is flavorful and addictive. I've had the burgers, thoty thots, Yucca fries, nuggets, and latest and greatest, the mouthwatering vegan steak sub!!!Always has been consistent too, so keep it up! I would have took photos, but I like my food hot and it never last long.“
“This review was long overdue. I’ve been coming here for years even though I don’t live nearby. Seitan’s helper has the best vegan sandwiches in NYC. I travel to the city specifically for seitan’s helper, it is worth the two hour trip plus traffic. Everything on the menu is amazing. I recommend EVERYTHING! Every time I make the trip, I make sure to stock up. i usually get the triple threat which is one of my favorites. If you’re unsure what to get an If you’re unsure what to get i recommend building your own sandwich. All the seitan, breads , sauce's and etc are all made from scratch. You can tell a lot of love goes into what they do. Not only is their food amazing but so is their customer service. They are so welcoming and accommodating. I wanted to purchase something for my toddler daughter to eat so I asked if they had a kids menu. They don't have a kids menu but without hesitation made a grilled cheese just for my daughter. I would eat here everyday if I could.Vegetarian options: Menu is veganDietary restrictions: Vegan“
“My sister and I went to Urban Vegan Kitchen for the first time this week. We both absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the vibe…all great. I had the “chicken” and waffles and my sister had an empanada and chips, salsa and guacamole. All delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu.“
“I have never tasted Chinese cuisine as delicious as this before. The intricate blend of flavors, the perfect balance of spices, and the presentation of the dish are simply phenomenal. It's an experience that is both satisfying to the palate and visually appealing. Truly the best Chinese cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of trying!“
“Fabulous! You could spend so much money in here and never feel unhappy about it. Totally vegan it's actually quite large with lots of places to sit and just plants everywhere. if I had more money, I would buy myself every single plant and item they have here. lovely food, lovely staff, highly recommend! please support your neighborhood, vegan place.“
“Sushi was truly outstanding, really scratches that itch! Spicy tuna and orange "roe" were both stand outs. Dumplings also nicely seasoned and presented. This restaurant overall is really cute! Nice layout, great service, very fast for the weekday lunch timeframe.“
“Electric Beets has an extensive selection of foods which are all vegan. Most of their prepared foods can be eaten as is or warmed up. They have little to no processing to their foods and rely on using whole foods. On the occasions I've visited the staff have been welcoming and friendly. There's some seating options but it is more of a grab and go style. They have delicious food but I especially love their desserts. The date, almond, cranberry and zucchini brownie is a must!“
“Since our arrival the staff has been super friendly, and for those whose English is a problem, it is solved because everyone speaks Spanish. And the food is spectacular! The spaghetti with meatballs are tremendous, and the pizza is delicious and made with fresh products. The portions are very large and you will have leftover food, but they provide you with tupperware to take away. Highly recommended!“
