Eat here 1-2 times a month with lots of my family for years now. We were happy to see it become a IHOP years ago but the staff turning over to nearly 100% Hispanic immigrants has revealed they are racist. Not bringing my family here any more to spend money to be disrespected. Freehold IHOP is friendly. Go there if you are of African heritage.

Me and about 26 of my family members have been eating here since it became a ihop. We live in 5 towns surrounding this location and grew up on ihops in North Jersey. Food is typical ihop rarely had a meal that was wrong or not hot.Yesterday was the LAST day of me and my family ever stepping foot in this location.We have noticed, as staff turn over frequently, there are now staff that seem to not think African descent customers deserve the same respectful treatment non-Africans get. We noticed we are seated typically away from others or around the doors (not optimal seats in any restaurant). We noticed stares, eye rolls, longer waits to be served, lack of friendliness (seen given to others) and less accommodations from STAFF. This has increased as staff has increasingly become Spanish immigrant. We’ve observed this over a 2-3yr period.We will never spend our money where we are treated poorly.If you’re darker skin or of African descent just beware your service won’t be as sweet.Parking: Open lot park freely

I went this morning with my husband and 2 of our out of state friends who were visiting and it's safe to say I will never be dining in here again. About half the food was okay tasting, our server was absolutely terrible. When telling him our orders we were saying what choices we wanted for the breakfast meats and like the toast and other items and he was acting like he didn't even know what they were or what items were on the menu. When we recieved our food one of the meals was wrong and about 5 different items were missing. Then at the end we were deciding amongst ourselves how much we thought our waiter deserved getting tipped just to recieve our bill with the gratuity already applied!! I have been a server before at multiple restaurants and even in different states and never have I ever automatically applied the gratuitiy to someone's check unless it was a party of 20 or more people and they are made aware prior to being serviced. This is just mind blowing to me. Sure just make it so you don't have to give good service and still get a 18% tip.

Ordered 3 meals . Two of them had a piece of hair in them. 4" black hair. No one in our house has black hair.And the kids meal wasn't as advertised when we ordered.4 star service was for the manager as we had to call and say something. She was helpful.
