My recent experience at this restaurant was decent. While the atmosphere was comfortable, the service left much to be desired. The menu had a variety of options, but the execution of the dishes fell short of expectations. Our waiter lacked the enthusiasm we hoped for, and the recommendations were mediocre at best. A surprise. Cruising up the NJ Turnpike, spent the night in the attached and somewhat shabby motel and needed dinner STAT. This bar and grill looks like it was decorated in the 70s and not altered since: all dark wood, dark lighting, etc. But my burger - their speciality burger with some mysterious sauce - was excellent, and they had some good beers. How could I possibly complain?
