“I’ve been coming to The Grand ever since they opened. I’ve NEVER been disappointed. This place is absolutely my favorite restaurant. Period. Always consistent. Always amazing. Great service, drinks, atmosphere. The current menu is one of my favorites, and you must come to The Grand. Thank you for making a perfect experience every time.“
“Visited for Easter dinner with family. We’ve been to Rooney’s quite a few times and never an issue but alas, today was the day to have an issue. I informed the staff and their response was more than I could’ve ever asked for.Issues happen, we’re human and yesterday they were packed. That being said the staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we ordered. That’s great service. The food was great, even the “issue” was good. Service was toos, even with a packed house. The atmosphere always good because you’re right on the water and this place has a great vibe.We will be back again and I’m sure I won’t have an issue like the 10 times previously I didn’t.Dietary restrictions: One of the people in our party had dietry restrictions and they were handled perfectly. They have lots of gluten free options.“
“The service, ambiance, cocktails and food were all exceptional. Truly, a perfect experience and R Bar has established itself as the spot we'll bring friends from out of town... which means we'll have to sample everything first. Brolied oysters, fried chicken and the bourbon slushi are must haves. Big thanks for an amazing evening.“
“We had a truly wonderful experience here. The staff at the host stand were so friendly and engaging. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server, Julianna, who was an absolute rock star. The place is so warm and inviting with the giant fireplace and decor. The atmosphere is great here. All that and then the food being so delicious and the service being so stellar makes for a great night out. Do yourselves a favor and make a reservation here ASAP!“
“Boyle's is an enduring neighborhood bar that has been in business for decades. It's unassuming and sits in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. Don't let that deter you from visiting. The drinks are very good and the staff is consistently friendly and accommodating.“
“I have passed this place many times and can't believe I've been sleeping on it! Romantic, cozy, and the food is great. Our server, Eric, was great! Celebrating my sisters birthday dinner was a success. We had the oyster special and arancini balls, dinner for me was the salmon fettuccine. The chocolate cheesecake for dessert was the perfect way to end our meal. Thanks for a great experience - we will definitely be back!“
“I absolutely love the atmosphere thie place has. It's warm and inviting. The food is always great and consistent. I've ordered the streak frites and it's delicious like melts in mouth tender and flavorful. The bread with cheese is ridiculous as a starter meaning it's amazing. The specials are always good and fresh. Great friendly staff with a great view and consistent great food.Vegetarian options: Good options“
“Jean, our server was pleasant, high energy, fast, quick witted, most attentive and will become your best friend as soon as you meet her. Food and cocktails were outstanding !! Live music by Andy Russo was a pleasant surprise - playing all of our favorite Bruce songs with a special guest joining him playing Stevie Nicks Landslide! Mr C’s was one of the most pleasant dining experiences we’ve had since we’ve moved to Asbury park. This dining experience will not disappoint! We will be back in the near future and cannot wait to be back here in the summer and go up to the sunset deck!“
“We recently hosted my husband's 50th Birthday at the Elbow Room and it was amazing. The staff was incredible along with the food and ambiance. The staff ensured that every single detail was handled perfectly from start to finish (even coordinated with our outside vendors). All of our guests really enjoyed themselves and we look forward to hosting more events here in the future!“
“Food was great! My margarita was okay. We were disappointed our server didn't circle back after we started eating, especially to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Overall our party of four enjoyed the foos and company, a great time was had by all!“
“I went into Rockerfellas and I loved it. Rico and Renee are some of the nicest people you ever want to meet and have a good time with. The food is absolutely excellent. Fun for the whole family , they catered delicious meals for my family and I ,we loved it. My kids love Rico we always have a very nice time and the customers always leave satisfied .“
“We’ve been coming to Seafarer since it first opened, when it was Highlands best kept secret. We’re happy for their success! Cocktails are great, the food truck is convenient, and this is one of our favorite spots for Dock N Dine. Always plenty of boat parking! 10/10. Great vibes.“
“This was an absolute hidden gem! We were trying to find something midway for our friends meeting us and decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! Our waiter was super nice and provided great service. They even accommodated a special request of clams on the half shell, and they were great. Shrimp scampi over linguine was tasty and lobster ravioli was delicious and even came with half a lobster tail. Desserts were great too. Definitely will be back. Ambiance was a little dated, but it was clean including the bathrooms.“
“I have been going there for 40 years now. Always great delicious food as well as, a whole page of specials. The specials are always different. Their burgers are grilled in the center of the bar. They also have a delicious cheddar cheese that they pour over there hamburgers. The house salad with the house dressing is always a winner. Lettuce, egg, little shrimp, with the house dressing! I always loved the crab Melt aways! you cannot make a reservation, there is always a wait for dinner. get there at 11:30 for lunch, it fills up fast! Lunch specials come with a soup or a salad. Recently, renovated, outside area as well. With, it’s about time, new bathrooms!Vegetarian options: There’s so many vegetarian options, especially with all of their specials.Dietary restrictions: If you need something they will accommodate you.Parking: They have handicap on the side of the building, as well as in the back of the building, which is the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Brought my kids, since they were very little. They’re in their 30s now.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the first floor.“
“We love this place. Have been coming here for years. Great food, especially the pizza. It has lots of seating including booths, high tops and tables. The bar is spacious and the crowd is friendly. The staff is great, no matter how crowed it is everything comes out quickly. Past night had the spinach dip that was made in a bread bowl, my new favorite appetizer, feeds two people. Plenty of parking.“
“Interesting mix of regulars, college kids, and locals depending on what time you arrive. Definitely worth waiting if under 20 mins. The drinks are good and there are plenty of food choices. Check out the daily specials and happy hour prices. Bonus happy hour is all day in mondays.“
“Really good food, not gourmet by any chance but really good. I had the broiled seafood combo which was ok. It could have been seasoned better. My wife had the fish and chips (fries). It was hot and tasty. Fries were run of the mill. My one complaint is that it was chilly inside. I had a long sleeve T shirt on and was not comfortable. Ambient noise level was pretty high.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the second floor but they have an elevator“
“Great place! Crab legs were fresh and delicious. Oysters are seasonally sized, good price, and fresh. Service is great at the bar; I didn't go to the restaurant area. Very local feel, even though it could be a tourist destination. Close to Sandy Hook area beaches.“
“We just discovered this bar. It was recently refreshed - Clean, comfortable, and bright. Forget the old McCann's. Yay! A real happy hour - 12-6 every day. We're eating through the menu. So far, everything is excellent! We've had the wings - so fresh and hot. Quesadilla was hot and a generous portion. Shepherds pie to die for. Maryann is awesome.“
“Great dinner and wonderful service. Tried the mixed fajitas and the snapper vera cruz and both were very tasty. The guava and cheese empanadas for dessert were delicious as well. Definitely coming back here to try some of the other interesting entree options.“
“Barside service is great, dining room decent. Food is sometimes amazing, sometimes mediocre. Fried chicken tends to be on the dry side. The atmosphere is average, nothing crazy but nothing horrible either. All in all great place that could use a bit of fine tuning. Highly recommend their pulled brisket sub.Vegetarian options: Full vegan optionsKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Full accessability.Dietary restrictions: Kosher, also halal.“
“Ok, so it starts with the fun name and go!!! We had Shwarma Wings ... WOW! Triple fried and crispy! And their Bloody Marys are made from a home-made mix and are EXCELLENT! The bartenders are super friendly and engaging. We loved it and can't wait to go back!“
“I only had the beer so I cannot comment on the food, though...the reviews on that are fruitful and quite good.If you grew up in the Woodbridge-Metuchen-Edison area, you definitely hit up Hailey's on more than one occasion. D'Arcy's has the same vibe, just closer to the Jersey shore. "Football" scarves are in abundance, great crowd, great beer. What more could you ask for? The Irish are the best...or maybe I'm just a little biased. Slainte.“
“Really great upscale bar food plus! Maria was a fabulous server and recommended the zucchini blossoms which were awesome. We had a burger, fish tacos, tuna app, and chix empanadas which were all top notch. Good drinks and wine. Looking forward to a return visit. Tight quarters so make a reservation.“
“Great Irish pub! Nice atmosphere, dark wood, 2 levels, and fireplace on 2nd level. Wonderful menu of traditional irish fare along with irish american choices. They have fabulous Irish music sessions every Tuesday evening. Staff is great too, friendly and efficient. It's one of my favorite places to go either on a date for 2, or a family dinner.“
“It's in BELMAR. Ok? The old Paul's Tavern, expanded to host up to three musical acts at once, great space and there's something for everyone!! To heck with this Lake Combover nonsense tho. Parking is definitely a pain, but it's a beach town, it's to be expected!“
“First time going to this place . Was pleasantly surprised how good the food was! Our server Josh was very friendly and explained the menu when we had questions. Was a little crowded as it was a Friday night and was a little loud due to many patrons in a small space. Prices are reasonable. We will return. Three people with an appetizer, and dinners was only $77.00 before tip.“
“We wandered in here on St. Patrick’s Day even though the website said they were closed on Sundays. Speakeasy bar in a residential neighborhood with friendly bar maids and locals. To crowded to order food but, I definitely will be back to try the “eats”!Went back last night for “eats “ and had the thin crust pizza, if you’re a fan of this kind of pie as am I this is your place. They have a generous drink pour also. It is now in my regular monthly rotation!“
“Jamian's is my favorite spot in town to grab drinks, eat some awesome pork nachos, and have fun conversations with my wife. The vibe is perfect - super chill yet lively. You've got the option to sit inside or outside, which is great for any weather. The bartenders are the best in town, top-notch, always fun, friendly and inviting. They also have great live bands that really elevate the atmosphere.“
“They charge you on soda refills which was $3.50 a pop. It should be noted they charge for refills. I didn't see any notation on the menu. I may have missed it, but next time I'll order only one. It is BYOB place. I wonder if I can bring a soda??“
“On an ordinary day, we go here for beers and a burger with cottage fries and always have the best time. I have to mention this weekend specifically though because we had our wedding after party here. The owner, Kevin, is truly one of the nicest people and always provides service with a genuine smile. He is courteous and made all of our family and friends feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our evening. Even in the busiest moments, Kevin and staff managed to be accommodating and attentive. Cannot say enough enough about this place, the family and the staff. Wonderful!“
“Went last night for dinner. The design of the place is very nice and they had live jazz music in the corner.Service was great and very attentive. I ordered the asparagus soup and the lamb pappardelle. Delicious, filling meal. I sat in the lucky seat so I got a free drink! Fresh OJ. Overall great experience. Hope to be back for more food and music!“
“Went here on a Saturday. Bartender Laura was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the working of the bar and food. Etc. Cute little "dive bar". Right up our alley. Not noisy. The patrons were all locals and friendly. We had a few drinks. Played some pool and left. Will definitely be back for lunch or their Sunday brunch.“
“If you want frozen food, pre-prepared in a commercial kitchen, then reheated and served to you….don’t come here. The Nip N Tuck has chef curated, freshly made to order, upscale bar food, served in a relaxed, unpretentious and comfortable environment.“
“A very popular destination with locals and for dinner it won’t disappoint. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly, same room for dessert because they are out of this world! The food was excellent too, the Nicholas Burger really hit the spot, and did I mention desserts! Seriously no one would blame you for just going here for them, sinful and delicious. Great for a low key event like birthday or anniversary.“
“Decent dive/sports bar. Cool atmosphere with all the signs. The bartender was very nice and attentive. The food however was mediocre. Got burgers, wings, etc. just ok. They have homemade chips here which is a nice touch however they werent cooked all the way through. If i want to eat this place wouldnt be my first choice but for drinks its not bad“
“Happy hour from 4 to 10 WOW. Music also. Bartenders know their stuff and make excellent drinks. Tuesday night has special dining menu to ho with happy hour menu. Tacos were terrific. My wife had hamburger from Tuesday menu and it was less than happy hour menu and included fries. Everyone serving had smiles and appreciated us. Also they have a rewards? Program. Had 2 mixed drinks each, appetizer and burger and tacos“
“We brought our family there who were visiting for the weekend, 10 adults and 2 babies. Sean answered our call when we asked if they could accommodate us all and he then greeted us when we got there. He was very welcoming and nice, Our service was great. I did not catch our waitresses name but she is a younger girl and was amazing. She was beyond friendly and attentive. We all got different foods. The special, butternut squash soup was a huge hit at our table. Everyone loved their dinner as well ( chicken franchise, lasagna, short ribs to name a few) and my leftovers were just as good the next day. We certainly plan to go back. Thank you to the staff there for a great family dinner.Kid-friendliness: Our waitress reviewed all of the kids menu options with us and both our waitress and Sean checked on the two little ones while we were dining.“
“Two words: FRIED ZUCCHINI. It’s a must as an appetizer. Get the pesto cauliflower and use the same sauce for dipping while you’re at it. SO GOOD!In general, my partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The veggie risotto & panzanella salad were our meals of choice and the portions definitely filled us up.We recommend the Red Bank location (and the Asbury location!) to all ☺️“
“We just visited Primavera for the third time today!! The ambiance is calm and relaxing and really beautiful!! Staff is friendly and helpful!! All the food is out of this world!! The Chef's Pasta is amazing and so unique!!! highly highly recommend.“
“Okay the gelato and tuna salad/panini is to die for here. Great coffee too.The rustic European atmosphere is top notch, great friendly service and generally fun environment to hang out in. There is good music on all the time and a TV playing classic movies. I am not a big drinker but the Whiskey Sour (Gold Rush) is my favorite in town.“

“Took a daytrip to Belmar and decided to check out Anchor Tavern. The bartender Lindsey was friendly and accommodating. She recommended the wings which were cooked perfectly with their house bbq. 10/10! Manager Emerald made me feel welcomed and was very pleasant to talk to. Great service, great atmosphere. I imagine the Anchor is the place to be in the summer time. Check it out!“
“Friendliest bar in Monmouth County. Focus is on the genuine, rather than the pretty. If you care about the décor, go elsewhere. If you care about non-pretentious, friendly folks, and cheap drinks, and good, down-to-earth food, this place is tough to beat.“
“Fun bar with decent parking on the outsideIf you show up during the day they also offer a good selection of dishes that the chef picks out everydayMost of the music is Brazilian and they even fly in a couple of artists straight from BrazilIn terms of crowd this place gets packed usually Friday or Saturday nights and it’s a equal mix of newer and older peopleGreat place to visit during a night out by the beach in longbranchWheelchair accessibility: The entrance has a ramp for wheel chairs“
“I ate here but didn't stay here. I don't know if they have lodging or if they had lodging ages ago. Nice pub with a menu better than what you would expect for a pub and tasty. No 5 star restaurant, but when looking for pub food with a TV in view regardless of where you are seated, this is the place.“
“HOW are you guys after the Hurricane? Carol Rosin's grandson is asking, hope you guys are O.K. because It would be a tragedy if there's any permanent damage to what has remained consistent for many decades. PLEASE get back to me. LOVE from Paul David Fenz (Paolo) we went almost every summer from '72-'81. If all is O.K. I give you guys an EXCELLENT rating“
“Barnacle Bill’s is an absolute staple of the Rumson area and is a must visit. It’s a bar/tavern/grog shop that is somewhat trapped in time but in the absolute best way. It’s dark, loud and crowded but it just feels perfect. Burgers are charbroiled and the steak fries are great. Service is surprisingly good and the people watching is even better. I’m really happy places like this still exist.“
“Went to this restaurant for my friends baby shower, the food, service and atmosphere were exceptional upstairs!Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp that's accessible for those who need it to enter and leave the restaurant and appears to be ample parking.“
“Service was fine, seems like staff was newer and learning the ropes which is fine because their attitude was very good. I had the Big Mouth Crispy Chicken Sandwich which was outstanding, super crispy yet juicy and tender on the inside. The sandwich comes with fries which were served hot and tasty. Overall an amazing value at $12.99. I left the restaurant full, my daughter had the same and took half of the meal home since the portion was so large.“
