“The request was find the best pizza near our hotel. After comparing some reviews we headed to Urban Tomato. It’s in a neighborhood setting across from a church. The restaurant decor is simple but comfortable with a great hosts. We never felt cramped. The boys enjoyed a chicken pizza half garlic and half bbq drizzle and my wife and I enjoyed a fungi white pizza that was out of this world. I continue to say this, if g-d had given Jersey the water, their pizza would be king.”

“Small bakery inside Mitsuwa. Not many items compared to Korean bakery (TJL/PB) but it’s good if you want toast or loaf.

I got a garlic butter bread. Light garlic taste and salty butter was great for breakfast. I would like to try other items for sure.

Great place for Thai food. Dishes taste fresh with clean flavors and no heavy sauces. Portions are big and perfect for sharing. The menu is simple and focused, which keeps the quality high. Food comes out fast and always looks fresh.

The terrace is a nice spot to sit, calm and comfortable. Staff are friendly, helpful, and never pushy. You leave full but not heavy, which makes you want to return.”

“Last Saturday, I visited Bar Burger in Edgewater for the very first time with a group of my friends, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. We decided to try a couple of their signature items the My Sunshine Burger served with perfectly crisp, all-natural French fries, and the Cilantro Black Bean Burger topped with their flavorful spicy mayo.

The taste of both burgers was absolutely outstanding juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor in every bite. The fries were golden and crunchy, the perfect complement to the burgers. The Cilantro Black Bean Burger in particular had such a unique, satisfying flavor profile that it stood out from anything I’ve had before.

The atmosphere at Bar Burger Edgewater was lively yet relaxed, and the staff truly added to the experience. They were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal, hang out with friends, and soak in the neighborhood vibe.

I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area not only for the incredible food, but also for the warm, easygoing energy this spot offers. Highly recommended for burger lovers!”

“This place is just WOW! The rice balls are all so delicious. The rice is imported from Japan and you can definity taste the quality. My top favorites are spicy chicken( contains peanuts) and spam which contains kinda like a tamagoyaki egg and it's wrapped with a strip of seaweed sheet. You should definitely check this place out as they have a majority of options to choice from.”

“I’m really a fan of Arigato. I used to live across the street, now I live about five minutes away and it’s still such a great, easy, quick go-to during the week. The staff is always kind. There’s usually always places to sit, don’t need a reservation. I love the easy and chill vibes of this place. Their food is also always fresh. I’d definitely recommend to others. My husband likes a sushi. I am allergic to fish, so I am stuck to veggie rolls. But I appreciate that they have a delicious, sweet potato tempura roll, and also a unique rice paper roll with different veggies inside, that I get every time. The reason for the four stars, is simply because I think some other dishes, like their chicken teriyaki needs a lot of work. If I were them, I would remove it from the menu until they got it a better spot- taste and presentation wise. It doesn’t align with the rest of their delicious offerings. That said, I’m about to enjoy my next meal from them! Well done Arigato!”

The busboy was so friendly too, smiled at us while serving us hot tea. This is the go to korean spot in Edgewater. Not too expensive either. Highly recommended.”

“My family and I have always been to this place when we are in mitsuwa. This is because to get taiyaki which tasted wonderful and seems like two taiyaki cooked together with azuki filling. The taiyaki was wonderful and tasty when it was hot.”
