“The request was find the best pizza near our hotel. After comparing some reviews we headed to Urban Tomato. It’s in a neighborhood setting across from a church. The restaurant decor is simple but comfortable with a great hosts. We never felt cramped. The boys enjoyed a chicken pizza half garlic and half bbq drizzle and my wife and I enjoyed a fungi white pizza that was out of this world. I continue to say this, if g-d had given Jersey the water, their pizza would be king.”

Because of my time off visiting, I was only able to do take out and this allowed me to test the place before any commitments. I was blown away with the quality of my food and quantity at the given price point. I will make sure to visit again soon for their dine-in experience!”

“My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place! We live quite far but have friends who live nearby so whenever we go visit this is our go to spot! I always get the fish tacos which are absolutely bomb everytime! I also recently got the wings and they were also very good; crunchy yet juicy. Recommend eating in as food is always best when eaten freshly made, or if you’re nearby that works too. However, I went last year while it was snowing and took a bus back home, food was still as good as always!”

“Every time I’m in Bergen county, I must have a meal here. I recommend the miso flavor ramen; it’s flavorful but not salty. The amount of toppings such as bamboo and pork belly is perfect, but you can buy extra. The choice of a hard boiled egg with the ramen is interesting to me, but it’s seasoned well, plus you can also buy a soft boiled egg. The portion size is quite generous; a small bowl of ramen is good for 1 meal while a large bowl is good for 2. Personally, I like Combo C and B; with natto and salmon topped with ikura respectively on the side. Liking natto is definitely an acquired taste though. A combo with a large ramen isn’t more than $20 as far as I remember, so it’s for a good price given the portion size. My only critique is how crowded the food court is and you may have to wait for a seat, so I suggest takeout. Overall a place worthy to visit if you’re in or around NYC.”

“Omusubi Gonbei is a small quick service shop specializing in Omusubi Rice Balls.

They typically are open around the same time Mitsuwa opens up, and the lines do get quite long.

Omusubi prices are pretty good for the portion size, and the options do have some vegetarian options as well. The service is quite quick as they typically have Omusubi ready to go, and they're kept warm enough inside the storage that they are warm and feel fresh when receiving it.

I've tried multiple throughout the many years I've been coming to this spot. My highlights are the Spicy Bomb, Bomb, Karaage, and Eel. The Eel and Karaage are within the name, with a Karaage fried chicken inside the rice ball and the eel being a regular eel inside the rice ball. The Spicy Bomb is the highlight of the location, and also one of the more expensive options.”

“I love this bakery! I have always been a fan of their melon pan. I also love getting their matcha cornet! Their premium bread that's available only on weekends has been my recent pick up, I love how well it toasts. I also like their matcha muffins that come in a pack :) I recommend this bakery if you are a fan of Japanese pastries! The workers here are also kind.”

We both get the soondubu, I get the clams with spicy level. Their side dishes are so crispy and fresh, I really love each side dish they bring out, it’s a clean plate every time.

Definitely would come back whenever we are in the edgewater area, one of the better SGD chains.”

“Amazing Authentic Indian Cuisine, we had the goat curry , Chicken Tandoori ( OMG so Fresh!!) , and Shrimp curry all with white rice . Food was tolerant spicy we asked for mild and it was just perfect, food was also cooked to perfection . Food feels very much home made , is not oily. The staff is super nice and friendly, the bus boy for our table Praveen was super attentive . Great place to have great healthy Indian food. I will try another level up in spice next time . Will definitely be back ! AAA+++”
