“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. “I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.”

I asked for the burger to be made without meat, and the staff member handled it professionally and without any hesitation. The sandwich was made properly and tasted great. I truly appreciated the effort and attention to detail.

“Personally, I think this is the best hotpot place in this area. Its a small restaurant but it’s so cozy, the staff is so kind, and the food is delicious. My husband and I always start off with their Sliced Beef and OX Tongue in Chili Sauce ( it’s served cold but it’s so good!). We then get their hotpot ( you can definitely share one order with two people). Their spice level is no joke! - and it’s delicious. We also love their specialty drinks; they’re so refreshing and help cut the spice level from the hotpot.
The staff is so helpful and accommodating. We have baby, and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure we are seated comfortably with our stroller by our side. It’s one of the few places that we have found easily fits a full stroller next to our table.
We’ve brought all our family and friends here because of how much we love this place.
The parking space is a little small, but there are plenty of neighboring parking spots that you can use.”

Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. “This past Saturday, 5.21.22, my family and I ventured out to Cucina Mandreucci, for the first time since covid, for my niece's college graduation celebratory dinner. We have been here before for other special family occasions, as well as for everyday family dinners. No matter whether you are a party of 20 or an intimate party of two, Cucina Mandreucci will treat you like family. They handled our rowdy bunch with ease. Jill, our server, and our busser (I apologize, but I forget his name) treated us like family. They remembered us from our last large family gathering three years ago, as well as from the last time I was there with my fiance and our four children. They remembered where we sat and what we ate; simply put, they (but especially Jill) made us feel at home, and welcomed us back with open arms. As if that were not enough, the food was, once again, outstanding! I am a picky eater, and that puts it mildly. Jill was ready for my crazy requests and substitutions. She, and the kitchen, handled it all like pros. As if our large, rambunctious party were not enough to handle, we actually forgot a to-go meal for a family member who was unable to attend; we put that request in as we were paying the bill. Not four minutes later did that food come out of the kitchen ready to go. When I tell you this place has their stuff together, that is the truth. This is my favorite restaurant in Middlesex County for sure, and of course we'll be returning!”

“Shake shack has really good burgers and shakes. I had a single shack burger with cheese fries and a cookie shake. I enjoyed every bit. They have self ordering which takes away from the customer service aspect but they also have a register if you have cash. My food took about 10min. It wasnt that many ppl working they were nice when handing me my food. Place looked clean. U can dine in or out. They have a patio and plenty of parking.”

The paneer was soft and flavorful, and my kids devoured them before I could finish my chicken wings. Next, I indulged in the "Haka Chili" and "Shawarma Chicken" pizzas. “Taco Empreso is number one in all NJ & NY my absolute favorite spot. Not only is the food top tier but the drinks are amazing too. The piña colada is my favorite, the churros are delicious, and the tacos with mango are a must try. Even though the place is always packed, they’re always fast, and that says a lot you can tell everything is made fresh. The customer service is excellent, and Joanna is wonderful. The spices were perfectly balanced, the food was fresh, and you could really taste the care and authenticity in every bite. The rotlas, sabzis, and overall meal had that genuine Kathiyawadi touch that makes the cuisine so unique and comforting. Upon walking in the laoban talked to us for like 10 mins about how the pork was specialized from a facility in Maryland to get the same taste as Chinese pork by bloodletting

Anyways the sesame noodles were really great and the meat was good wonderfully flavored

The weird soup with pork balls was great too and kinda tasted like Chinese pork but maybe it was placebo

Bao buns might have been frozen but good

Fish balls we’re meh but maybe it’s just because I don’t like yuwan that much

But most of all the Chinese laoban felt like a very homely grandpa and even gave us boiled water lol

Overall very nice and decently priced very happy

“This is easily the best Korean restaurant in the area. The food is authentic and all the banchan were delicious. We enjoyed our meal so much that we even ordered extra Galbi to take home! They do seem to be short staffed, so the service can be a bit slow and chaotic at times. However, I felt more sympathetic toward the hardworking staff than upset by the wait. Definitely worth a visit!”
