“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. I am making this my go to spot for lunch or dinner, I give Kanpachi 5 stars. Thank you for picking Amboy Ave to open your sushi house.”

Wow! Firstly, very lovely first impression walking in and being seated. I am a big fan of the robin-egg colored tableware and the Miniso Dundun chicken timers lol. The place felt very clean and fresh, upon arriving.

Food:
The broth was extremely rich and flavorful! Genuinely tasted like it was prepared for a long time (10 hours) just like they advertise! It tasted very savory and it pairs well with the chicken and the other sides! The fish maw white fungus, chinese yam, pumpkin, and hand pulled noodles were all very fresh and high quality. I personally loved how chewy the noodles were after cooking it!

Our order was 2 servings it felt like a reasonable price. Definitely satisfied with the portion size given that we felt pretty full afterwards.

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.”

We recently had the pleasure of using Spice House on Rt 27 in Edison, NJ for our event catering, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We were thoroughly impressed by the overall quality of the food and the unparalleled level of service provided.
The variety of offerings were exceptional which included both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian options, ensuring all our guests were catered for. We also included few Indo Chinese varieties. Every dish was truly good and tasty. They did not cut corners, delivering excellent quality and quantity across the board.
The dedication to service extended to the delivery process as well. The food arrived in hot container pack, and it remained perfectly warm right up to the moment we were ready to serve, which made a huge difference to our event.
The staff's professionalism and helpfulness were top-notch. A special kudos must go to Ashish, who was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu and assisting with the selection of items and appropriate quantities.

“This past Saturday, 5.21.22, my family and I ventured out to Cucina Mandreucci, for the first time since covid, for my niece's college graduation celebratory dinner. We have been here before for other special family occasions, as well as for everyday family dinners. No matter whether you are a party of 20 or an intimate party of two, Cucina Mandreucci will treat you like family. They handled our rowdy bunch with ease. Jill, our server, and our busser (I apologize, but I forget his name) treated us like family. They remembered us from our last large family gathering three years ago, as well as from the last time I was there with my fiance and our four children. They remembered where we sat and what we ate; simply put, they (but especially Jill) made us feel at home, and welcomed us back with open arms. As if that were not enough, the food was, once again, outstanding! I am a picky eater, and that puts it mildly. Jill was ready for my crazy requests and substitutions. She, and the kitchen, handled it all like pros. As if our large, rambunctious party were not enough to handle, we actually forgot a to-go meal for a family member who was unable to attend; we put that request in as we were paying the bill. Not four minutes later did that food come out of the kitchen ready to go. When I tell you this place has their stuff together, that is the truth. “We had my mother’s 80th birthday party here and had a wonderful time! The restaurant is nicely decorated: an elegant Chinese theme with a modern touch. The wait staff were very attentive and accommodated to all our needs even when we were doing the decoration. Party food portion is huge. We had so much left over! “I think I found my favorite Asian seafood spot in the area. I am absolutely in love with their crab roe specialty ! You have the choice of with white rice or noodles. I chose rice with the crab roe and later one decided to get an order to go with the noodles. The crab roe is to die for ! So much flavorful and deliciousness. Another order is the steamed Halibut which was also wonderful to the taste buds. The service from the kind lady was wonderful and fast paced. We didn’t have to wait long for the orders to come. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the plaza and the first door. The parking is hard around that area but I went on thanksgiving day so it wasn’t so busy. My favorite part is the restaurant is dog friendly !!!! I cannot wait to try other items on the menu and bring my pup. This place is a must try with so much variety off their menu.”

“I've been waiting for Heytea to open up in this location, and it did not disappoint! The place always clean and smells of jasmine, so it's perfect for hanging out with friends or just grabbing something refreshing on the go.

Their fruit drinks and matcha drinks are amazing. The Mango Grapefruit Boom is my absolute favorite. It’s super refreshing with real fruit pieces, the perfect balance of sweet mango and tangy grapefruit.

The staff are always friendly, and the service is quick. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. Heytea Edison is definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!”

“This evening I was dining in at another Taco Bell location when I decided to use one of my rewards on the app to order the cinnamon twists. However, I accidentally ordered it for the Taco Bell on Woodbridge Ave in Edison. The other Taco Bell that I was at was not too far away, but would have been going the opposite direction of my house. I asked the cashier if that order could somehow be canceled or if I could get the reward back. She said no because it was sent to a different location. She suggested I call the Woodbridge Ave Taco Bell to see if they can cancel the order. I called over to the Woodbridge Ave location and spoke with Rosa. She was unable to cancel the order for me as it was already prepped, but said that if I was able to stick around the other Taco Bell for a little bit, she would swing by with the cinnamon twists. I told her not to worry about it as it was my mistake, but she said it would not be a problem as it was actually on her way home and she didn't want me to lose out on my reward. So I agreed. When we met up shortly after, I tried to tip her for going above and beyond, but she refused to take it. Rosa's kindness and generosity was so sweet, and she really brightened what had just been a long, exhausting day :)

One more thing... a couple months ago I ordered from the Woodbridge Ave location on the mobile app and my order got messed up. Not drastically, but still, not what I paid for. However, the manager fixed the mistake and even gave me a coupon for a free taco!

Workers are people too, and sometimes they make mistakes. It is how they handle those mistakes that can often make or break an establishment. Whether the mistake was my own, like in tonight's situation, or the establishment's, I felt that both times the customer service was excellent. I was super grateful for both of the people I interacted with, and for their willingness to go above and beyond.”
