“Ordered the pork belly ramen and a sushi roll; the sushi was good to my taste (especially for the price), although I’m hardly a connoisseur. As for the ramen, I thought the noodles were decent, and the pork broth was extremely good. There weren’t a lot of extras—just chives, corn, and a soft boiled egg—but it was a really good sized portion for the price. The only real disappointment was that the soft boiled egg was in fact hard boiled, and the chasu seemed a little bland.“
“We were looking for vegetarian chines fare and found it here on yelp so we gave this place a try. Eating a super early dinner at 5:30 with kids in tow led to wonderful attentive experience before any potential crowds. Service was fantastic and any questions we had were so politely addressed. The dishes came out fast, portions were generous and the flavors hit the notes we needed. Garlic pea shoots- don't be discouraged by the name. This is seasonal and a wonderful side to the rest of the food General Tso Tofu- very large serving, tofu has a slight crisp if you start eating immediately and a slight sweetness to the sauce. Would love to see a kung pao version with the peppers and peanuts! Veg fried rice- finally a place that does it right! Not just rice with a small pouring of frozen carrots and peas. This was great. Scallion Pancake- surprisingly not the standard version. This puffed up nicely and despite being deep fried was not greasy. Wonderful dipping sauce too! Homestyle Tofu- lots of mixed veg. This was not my favorite due to the "tobasco-esque" tanginess but a hit with my wife. There are some toys near the front to keep your kids (or you) busy while you wait but honestly the food comes out hot, fresh and fast- so you may as well just wait! We will be back!“
“Hands down the best soup dumplings I've had! You can tell being it was literally packed on a Friday night. You will order yourself on a kiosk or in advance online. The location itself is very casual and not very spacious. One downside is their open seating which makes snagging a seat difficult. I opted for the steamed pork juicy buns and my husband opted for the spicy pork juicy dumplings. Every single one held a delicious amount of soup. My husband raved about his as well. He enjoyed them so much, I didn't get a photo. I ordered the Shanghai pan fried udon. I felt it could've used more sauce. I also ordered the peach ice cream which was pretty good and also BOGO free. It didn't have a an artificial taste, it actually genuinely tasted like authentic peach ice cream. My husband had the spicy minced pork noodles and preferred the broth of the dish overall. While both noodle dishes were descent, the real standout was definitely the dumplings. We will be back. :)“
“This is a no frills old school Chinese restaurant with some unique selections. Didn't have much this time but what I had was excellent. Place was fairly empty and I hope that people aren't coming bc it's not trendy like some of the newer Chinese spots in the area I can't say enough about how amazing the Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce was. Def my favorite dish I ate here and the absolute best version of this I've ever had. The fried pork chop was simple but extremely flavorful and not over cooked. Lastly the twice cooked fish filet was good but not as good as I've had elsewhere (a bit too much batter for my liking). Cannot wait to come back to try other dishes“
