“Hello again culinary aficionados. Today we ventured to Egg Harbor Township and the Shop Rite Shopping center to find a local spot to have a fabulous lunch & voila we actually found THE Local Spot Restaurant! A Breakfast & lunch haven open from 8 am to 3 pm everyday of the week! As we ventured in we see booths and a welcoming counter and in the back many more spacious tables. Joining yours truly today was my travelling companion always my Nan and her cousin Theresa. We get Nicole a very engaging young lady who would be our server today and then we also met Danielle and we were doubly happy! Great young ladies who did not just robot the order they were informative, enjoyed the banter and actually were both a breath of fresh air from the normal may I help you no personality people many of you have said to me you are not happy with! It's always nice to smile when greeting your customers! I started off with the lentil soup and the ladies had the appetizer sampler with Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks & Jalapeno Peppers. Lunch was the Corned Beef Grilled Reuben, Grilled Chicken Gyro and for yours truly it was the Big Boy Cheese Steak with Fried Onions & Peppers! We gave the meals six thumbs up! We also gave our servers a standing ovation. And they are so easy to find. Heading east on the black horse pike you'll see the shopping center entrance just past the Burger King. Turn right and go to the end of the road & it's right in front of you! Find a place to park, walk in and get ready for a great breakfast or lunch. We all had to get boxes as the portions were to say the least generous. We met Steve at the main window and he's handling the abundance of take out orders and if you want to join in for a take out call 609-568-5197 but the recommendation here is you make time to visit not just a local spot but THE Local Spot in EHT and ask for Nicole or Danielle. It was a great time had by all of us and as we left they even reached out to say goodbye and in todays culinary world that's not the norm. Total for a tremendous lunch for three right about $50. The Local Spot in EHT we will be back! Check Please.”

“Had dinner here last Friday night. Was crowded, but wait was not that long. Sat at the bar. We tried many diff things since this was our first time here. Wanton soup was excellent, as was the Korean BBQ app. Egg rolls & shrimp tempora above average. For main we had lamb chop which was good and shrimp pad tai which was excellent. Didn't try any sushi but looked fresh. Prices not too bad and portions standard. Decor nice. Overall a nice time. Will be back.”

The small stromboli was huge. Staff was super friendly. We stopped there because it is a byob and a favorite brewery of mine is only 50 yards away so had some fresh brew with a great meal.”

The food was delicious — I ordered the cheesesteak with raw onions and a side of French fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. The cheesesteak was flavorful and fresh, and the fries were crispy and so good! The service was just as wonderful as the food. My waitress was so sweet, kind, and attentive. The service was fast, made me feel welcome too! The restaurant itself was super cute — beautifully decorated, very clean, and such a pretty atmosphere. “Photos attached, I ordered Shrim Tempura and Spicy Tuna Kimbap. I VERY rarely try sushi but I was absolutely blown away by how delicious this was. The Kimbap had a perfect balance of flavor and not too spicy. The shrimp was perfectly deep friend with a wonderfully light and airy batter. I'm glad I stopped in after donating plasma a nice healthy and delicious meal to help recover.”

“I've now been there three times for lunch. We split a burger and cheese steak on the first visit. Both were excellent. Owner Gus brought out a couple of slices of pizza for us to try. Both were so good, I decided to go for the Eggplant pizza on my second vist. I was there again yesterday with a party of three, a pizza, eggplant parm on a seeded roll, and an amazing chicken cutlet sandwich. Highly recommend for food, service, and friendly staff.”

Had lunch at Michelle’s Pizza today (February 21, 2025) and tried their Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap lunch special—easily the best Caesar wrap I’ve had in Egg Harbor Township! The wrap was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy. Shoutout to Sheryl, who is an absolute sweetheart. She’s been looking out for my employees since they were in diapers, and her kindness and service are unmatched. Highly recommend stopping by Michelle’s Pizza if you’re in the area. Great food, great people!”
