I decided to give this African food truck a try because of how good the reviews were after doing deeper research I see 98% of the reviews are from 2 years ago. The goat pepper soup was a 3/10 the soup was watery and filled with salt! The goat was so hard to chew and needed to be cooked much longer. The goat meat was filled with bones and hardly any meat. The egusi was filled with oil and SALT did not taste good at all. The food was extremely OILY . The egusi had two small pieces of turkey meat a big cow foot bone no meat. Not to mention this salt filled meal cost nearly 50$ you’re better off going to an authentic African restaurant for better food and a better price. ZERO STARS

It's a little bit pricey but it's also the best food I've ever had in Newark NJ. The bar has been raised.

Very poor customer service. Was not impressed at all for the food does not put the price out for diner time. My fault for not asking the price upfront. Ate in Many Nigerian Restaurant in NJ and the same food was way less the taste is not that impressive either very salty indeed. Pointed out to him the pricing being very expensive compare to actual Nigerian dine in restaurant and the gentleman started arguing and we proceeded to thanking him and leaving.

I had high hopes for this African food truck but my expectations was not met. On my lunch break I ordered Jollof rice & whiting fish. It was suggested by the owner ready-to-go, so my wait was not long. The order was $25 no complaints because again high expectations & also African foods are known to be very filling. I get back to work to take a peek of my food & what I saw was a weeks supply of rice in a large square container & in a small separate container the end of a fish & 2 tiny round chucks of the fish end with no sauce aka gravy. I assume the fish was cut up but nothing meaty about it at ALL. The amount of rice given was ridiculous as if he didn’t want to waste the rice later that night so he piled it on. I spent my hard earned $25 to not even get half of a fish yet a whole one. Customer service was very poor! Went back twice to resolve after sharing my complaint. The first visit the owner sent his employee to relay a message saying that, that is the portion & that fish is expensive. The second visit was not pleasant at all. He threw another dry tiny chuck of fish & was dismissive after that. This is why I will not be supporting food truck after this disappointment. I get that prices for food are expensive but if you are in high traffic areas. Expect your meat portion to meet up with the average plate size NOT under. I didn’t bother to ask for my money back because dude was on edge & I knew it wouldn’t end well. I gave my food away to the security in my apartment building. I HAD LOST MY APPETITE DUE TO A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!

The food is expensive. I don’t have a problem with that but at least the food should test good. I ordered ofada sauce and it was nothing like it. My family hated it so much, they felt like throwing up. It seems like you should take ofada sauce off your menu. I could taste stone and who even cooks ofada with that much fish. The stew was so watery. Nothing was right at all. I wish I could give you zero stars. Never getting food from here.

These guys ofada rice and stew is excellent. There food is really 5/5 . The only reason I give them theee stars is bc they only open wed-sat and they barely ever able to deliver.

So delicious, very tasty... I love it !

Excellent food. The grilled fish and suya were outstanding; it was perfectly seasoned and great portions too. The Rasta pasta had great flavor and firm shrimp. I wish they were more generous with the pasta, but good overall.

I shave never been more impressed by a Nigerian restaurant in the states, in my life. The wallpaper is Ankara, the interior design is so modern. The chefs are well trained. The food takes a while but no Nigerian dish is made quickly. It's all very fresh. Food was delicious and tasty.
