Got a chorizo breakfast burrito, the protein isn’t too flavorful but pairs great with the spicy green salsa and the available toppings.Nice spacious seating area right across.I’d eat here again

I am surprised to see such low ratings. I am from Canada. I was blown away by the taste of veggie burrito. Simply amazing.

Food was okay, I had carnitas tacos - the carnitas themselves were very good but the other elements were basic and lacking flavour. Really expensive. The service was ok though I found it difficult to hear the person, and the space was completely empty. I asked for the spiciest sauce but it felt that they were trying to push the mild one on me. The most off putting part however wasn’t the restaurant itself but the fact that I had to eat everything in 10 minutes because there was someone cleaning the space - first they shouted at someone for stepping on the floor, so I stayed clear of that area, but then they came back to tell me I had 5 minutes left to eat before they also cleaned there. There was only one other person there. Next time I’ll go to the burger place down the way which looked more chilled and probably cheaper too.

I’m shocked the ratings are so low for this place—some of the best airport food I’ve had in a LONG time! Flavorful and fresh—try the mild red salsa (it’s garlicky and delicious). I ordered the carnitas tacos; you get two per order but they’re heaping and basically falling out of the tortilla so I’d say the toppings is more like the equivalent to 3 street tacos. The only knock I have (apart from airport pricing ??♀️) is the cheese is just standard orange cheddar (not queso fresco, for example) but this hit the spot. Even my picky toddler was on board to share with me!

Carnitas super greasy. And two tacos $18 is more than a rip off, go eat somewhere else.

For airport food, these tacos were amazing. The carnitas were fresh and flavorful, the staff were efficient and moved through the line quickly while not skimping On toppings as other people mentioned. Yes it’s overpriced but all the food options are in an airport. Honestly, these tacos will be my go to at Newark for a quick meal.

Had the Adobe chicken bowl no beans, asked for extra chicken since no beans and they said no. Side of chips + soda $23 6oz of chicken, 5oz of rice, Pico de Gallo, sour cream and mild. (lettuce was brown not fresh) Flavor was ok too much oil, needed to be drained; food was not hot, warm at best. I would recommend you guys be more flexible and accommodate your customers. Portions need to be adjusted for the price and they didn't even have bags had to walk over to playa bowls for a bag. I would skip this next time, as they need to workout the portion and temperature issues.

Ordered veggie burritos. The hot salsa was right on point. Staff greeted with smile, the food was good . Overall I do recommend
This is regular overpriced airport food, so don't expect more than bland tex mex fare for a big price. The employees provide great customer service.

Honestly not sure what all the bad reviews are about? It’s an airport, it’s always going to be expensive. $17 for 2 tacos, but they truly pack them full of meat & toppings. The carnitas were delish, as was the hot salsa. The cheese was the letdown, bright orange and did not melt into the taco. Service was great and staff were cheerful. Everything was fresh, so can’t complain

Please update your menu and educate your workers about veganism versus vegetarianism. There are already very few options at the airport for plant-based people to eat a hot meal, so one star is kudos for that. However, when I kept asking what items were - simple questions, like was that made with dairy or meat products - I got back a lot of "I'm not allowed to say!" To which I and another customer responded, that's interesting because it says VG on the digital menu, but nothing corresponds with it. I even asked, can you tell me just to the best of your knowledge and explained that I'm not looking to sue, I'm just hungry! To no avail. For 16 bucks, the burrito--which leaked bean juice all over my only pants brought for a four day vacation--was just OK. There was definitely not enough sauce to give it flavor. Also, when I asked for more than one tiny piece of mushroom (which has nutritional value), again, the man serving muttered something along the lines of "I am only supposed to do one/I'm not allowed." He did place another small mushroom in the burrito. Hopefully this won't be the end of his career.I'm not sure if the workers here are under tyrannical rule, but the owners might want to help their employees succeed. This kind of sentiment usually comes from the top down. The cashier who worked there seemed nice.
