“Stumbled upon this place with my girls on a long layover in EWR. Ambience in the family run joint is perfect. I got to know the history going back to Naples It. Food is outstanding and enough can't be said about the value. a must do while in EWR.“

“Absolutely love it here. It's nice to have a vegan spot in this city because vegans are here! The service is always super friendly and the prices can't be beat. I love that they've finally added Nutella to the açaí bowls because we all know that is the KEY! Lol definitely a must try for health/good eats!“

“How do you turn a dreary overcast day into a bright and sunny afternoon in Newark, NJ? Chomp on a slice from Tommy’s Pizza & Restaurant in Elizabeth and smile with your mouth full. Sometimes you just know by looking at the three quarters of a pie that’s silently sitting in the window just waiting to be adopted while flashing those puppy-dog pepperoni eyes. Once we took a bite, it was 75.6125% there. But just a little sprinkle of the ol’ lost shaker of salt and…presto! Like waving a magic wand on a wedge. All the tangy pepperoni, ultra rich tomato-y sauce and stringy cheese came to life like a Pinocchio puppet that just wanted to become a real Pizza slice. Really thin crust but sturdy enough to hold the goods. Crispy, but with a fluffy and airy edge. This sucker gets a really good passing grade pre-salting, and a phenomenal gold star of excellence after a little dash of the magic crystals. Worth the trip if you have a layover at Newark. www.pizza-whore.com“
