“My friends and I drove here from queens for Iftar. When we arrived we were told they were all booked and could not seat us. Once they heard we came all this way from NY they called us back and went to make extra chairs just so they can make some space for us to eat! Really appreciated their accommodations for us. The place was packed and roo Afzal water was passed around for Iftar. You order your food at the front register and they bring the food to your table. Both the hangry burger and gappa chaat were really good. Definitely recommend.“
“Just had the best Pakistani food in New York. Karahi, daal chawal, behari boti and kulfi were soooooo good. Also special mention to our server Aneeba. She gave us an amazing service, went out of her way to help me charge my phone. Restaurant is super clean and maintained.“
“My South Indian relatives were impressed. The food is very flavorful. The chicken 65 especially was very spicy and I liked the rose flavor in the tikka masala. The biryani rivaled ones we've gotten in other parts of NJ and for a better price. All of the food was more flavorful than many Indian restaurants we've been to in the area. The naan was fresh and soft, and the sweet dahi was a great treat after all of that spicy, flavorful food. Also, the gulab jamun was fresh and was noticeably better from the usual canned ones. I think we'll be coming here more regularly and look forward to trying more of the menu.“
“recently tried takeout from Dera Masala Grill, opting for the Chicken Shish Kebab and Tikka Masala, Pakora. While the flavors were decent, I found the overall experience to be average. The packaging was satisfactory, but there was room for improvement in terms of presentation and taste. The service during the pickup was efficient, but there was nothing particularly memorable about it. Overall, it was a decent option for a quick meal, but there's potential for enhancement in both food quality and service“
“Hands down, the best Pakistani restaurant in the area. Incredible food and excellent service. Very welcoming and hospitable owner. Always a great experience, I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Definitely try the Butter Chicken and Nihari Beef (weekends only), both amazing.“
