Thanks to my great uncle Mike, I had the pleasant opportunity to visit River View East. Needless to say, I became obsessed with their chilli hot dogs. This was way back in winter of 2018, and I STILL crave them! The staff was warm and welcoming, the food exceeded any expectations I had. Truly wonderful, can't wait to come back.
For the food blog and the TikTok videos we hit a lot of hot dog and burger spots that are iconic to the region. This is one of the last ones that we had to hit for North Jersey so it was nice to be able to get out and get that done this past week. I got a burger all the way, hot dog all the way, and fries.The fries were literally right out of the fryer so they were very hot and they were crispy. I like this cut of fry because it can get crispy but also has a good amount of potato...read full review

I just discovered that this long standing staple is closing its doors.Riverview East has been a great part of Elmwood Park, New Jersey and I have enjoyed their hot dogs. I shall be sad to see it go.It is always sad to see a part of our memories go and I do wish the ownership and the team there the best.Thank you for some great hot dogs and french fries.
