Waitress was so pleasant. One person in the whole diner. They should improve the food so people can fill the tables. Food wasn’t good it was cold and terribly oily. A diner should be a staple in your neighborhood and it just didn’t meet any standards.

We waited an hour and ten minutes to get our food. It was only 3 of us and the place was practically empty. We stated our concern to the manager, an old lady, who was very unprofessional, and abrasive. She shouted that she had to take orders from outside. (for 1&1/2 hours?) When we finally got served they carried a wrong dish. When the dish was returned we could hear the same old lady in the kitchen yelling in another language. Please find a place that apologies when they are wrong instead of yelling, and find a place that has top notch customer service and servers who speak English.Sincerely,

Do not waste your time coming to this diner. Food was cold. Flavorless. Bean were disgusting and rice was hard. Hercules Special meal was way too small for $17. Seemed like they scrambled one egg. Cut a bacon in half to make it seem like there’s two/ same with the waffle.

Took my wife and her parents for lunch. Food was lousy I had the steak, shrimp, and avocado wrap, which was tiny and lacking flavor. My wife ordered the garlic steak from the lunch speciail menu. The steak was cold, dry, flavorless and tough. The rice was stale and the beans seemed old. Our parents said their burgers were fine.Hannah, our server was very sweet, but it was difficult to get her attention to get napkins or a refill of coffee as she was busy chatting with a coworker. This is our third time visiting this restaurant and as it has been in steady decline, we won't be returning.

Ordered a grill cheese with bacon, and pea soup. Grilled cheese was damp, and soup was cold. Tried another time....They messed up my salami sandwich. Not a good place....

The food had little to no flavor. The restaurant featured a Domincan dish that would embarass Dominican. Additionally, the dish was poorly presented and the service incompetent.

My husband and I were in Englewood with another family member who was going through a difficult 3 day medical procedure so needless to say we all were a little stressed and anxious. On day one we walked into this diner to pass some time while we waited and ordered breakfast. It was a typical NJ diner and the food was fine. I don't usually write reviews but felt like I really needed to mention our 2 waitresses Hannah and Vanessa. They were so welcoming and friendly and kept making sure we had everything we needed. They let us stay at our table for as long as we needed. We continued to go to this diner every morning for 3 days. Hannah and Vanessa were there each day and were just as welcoming every day. It meant a lot to us. So this review is for them. They were amazing and made a difficult time a little easier. Thank you.

Small diner on a busy street with parking. I normally stop at the Englewood Diner every 90-days. The food and service is good. Surprisingly, the waitress remembers me and what I like to order.

I took my grandmother to lunch here at about 1:30pm. Upon entering the gentleman that seated us was prompt and accommodating. There was maybe 4 other tables in the restaurant and one waitress on staff. Although nice, the waitress was clearly struggling a bit. Once they took our order we sat 45 minutes and nothing. The waitress approached us after 20 min the waitress thanked us for our patience and then made us wait another 25min. When we complained they let us know all the tables sat at once and the kitchen was behind which would have been nice to know when we sat. Aside from that experience in itself, the food was not great. We ordered a French onion soup, one empanada, and one buffalo chicken wrap. The French onion soup was far from traditional and unappetizing, so we sent it back. The empanada was frozen on the inside. The wrap was soggy and leaking all over the plate. Now to end this review, I'd like to mention that the couple that walked in about 25 minutes after us received there food seconds after we received ours so using the kitchen being overwhelmed was not an acceptable excuse to me... will not be returning.

Best fresh squeezed orange juice I've ever had. I'm not sure how they made it. Excellent service, very clean. My boyfriend and I stopped in for breakfast and had no complaints.
