Took my wife and her parents for lunch. Food was lousy I had the steak, shrimp, and avocado wrap, which was tiny and lacking flavor. My wife ordered the garlic steak from the lunch speciail menu. The steak was cold, dry, flavorless and tough. The rice was stale and the beans seemed old. My husband and I were in Englewood with another family member who was going through a difficult 3 day medical procedure so needless to say we all were a little stressed and anxious. On day one we walked into this diner to pass some time while we waited and ordered breakfast. It was a typical NJ diner and the food was fine. Waitress was so pleasant. One person in the whole diner. They should improve the food so people can fill the tables. Food wasn’t good it was cold and terribly oily. A diner should be a staple in your neighborhood and it just didn’t meet any standards.
