“I really really want to give 5 starts but the lack of flavor in certain dishes made me give 4. The Rock Shrimp appetizer is one of the best dishes I've ever had. EVER. The sauce, the crisp fry on the shrimp- I've had it twice and find myself thinking about it often! My husband ordered the whole red snapper fried- he loved it. The sauce it was in was also YUM. However, my last visit I had the salmon, and it was just ok and then this visit I had the sesame chicken and we ordered vegetable friend rice- and again, just ok. It's kind of weird bc I feel like these items has NO flavor. They were cooked wonderfully, but tasted as if I could make it at home. If I visit again I will order the rock shrimp as my appetizer and then again for my meal lol its THAT good! Service was exceptional both visits- from the host desk to the servers to the bus Boys.“

The service is also amazing as no matter how crowded it is the service is always quick and I get in and out of there. “We had lunch on Saturday afternoon. I would rate the food as pretty good, and better than Red Lobster which is right across Rt. 18. However the presentation of the food leaves a good deal to be desired. They serve on paper strays with plastic spoons. Paper would be fine if it was of a higher / thicker quality. The plastic utensils would also be fine if they weren’t of the kiddie party variety. The We had soft shelled crab, fried shrimp and catfish with boiled Cajun pototes and French fries. All of the food was good, neither over cooked not undercooked. The soft shell carb was pretty good. What was annoying was that the (soupy) boiled potato(s) side dish was served in a Saran Wrap baggie tied in a knot and put in the same paper tray with the fried soft shell crab. It was hard to tear it open without spilling the contents all over the table. However the side dish potatoes were good. The problem was the plating. The French fries were also good, neither overcooked nor undercooked and tender. While the food is good you and the restaurant is decently decorated, you get the impression that they have a very very tight budget for necessities as in utensils, plates and trays. Nevertheless we will eat there again or have their food delivered. They do not have a delivery service so you must use Uber or Doordash.“

“Love coming here for dim sum since there aren't many in the area. They have all the classic dim sum dishes, and the dining area is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit pricey, but the food is good especially if you're ordering their main dinner items. They're specialty is Cantonese style dishes, so I would probably stay away from their "take-out" type offerings.Parking: There's a larger parking lot behind the building. The spots in front of the building tend to be full most of the time.“

“Probably one of the best and decent restaurants out there in Marlboro/Manalapan area. They have variety of menu items. Food comes out quick. I feel the food is bit pricey compared to Perkins. Vegetarians & kids will have no problems ordering their food. $75 for 2 adult and 1 kid.When it gets busier, getting attention of the server becomes tricky.“

“The food was ok. Similar to other places. Had the steamed dumplings and general tso's lunch special. The special came with hot and sour soup and vegetable fried rice as I ordered. The fried rice was good. The soup v was tasty, but a little bit too sour compared to many others I have had. The general tso's chicken was very good and had a nice spice to it. A nice surprise was the chicken was white meat.“

“Long time patrons but Blue Water has gone downhill over the last several years as far as seafood choices and food taste. Seafood Fra Diavolo ordered medium was tasteless and calamari were the Shop n Stop frozen rings. Key Lime pie slice the size for a mouse maybe and tasteless, no presentation like back in the day. Another “ former “ old time patron sitting next to us was furious as his swordfish was maybe 1/4” thick. We both agreed never to visit Blue Water again. We both remembered when it was the best ! My spouse and I were customers when the place would be packed now 4 tables only at 6:30pm ( guessing others feel the same) and long gone is the special menu had lobster cakes, halibut, monk fish , red snapper etc. Sadly and honestly not even better than a pizza restaurant but 3x the price. “We enjoyed cocktails at the very busy (happy hour) bar prior to our dinner reservation. We shared two appetizers, Korean BBQ wings (excellent) and PEI mussels in fra diavalo sauce-not overly spiced and very good. Also enjoyed their signature OST Burger & fries.
