As soon as I walked into the place, I was struck by how incredibly SPOTLESS it is inside, it’s very nicely decorated, and I was warmly greeted by the staff. I don't have much more experience with this spot but I liked that there are a couple tables outfront, they had the game on inside for entertainment and there is a post mailbox out front. “This is one of two breakfast spots where I enjoy the shrimp and grits. It's very delicious and filling! I get bacon to add to the grits because everything is better with bacon. The latte was also hot for almost my whole meal; everywhere else it's cold after five minutes. I'm not sure how they're doing that, but I hope they keep doing it! All the employees are polite as well. I come from another state to eat here because I love the food and the service is great.”

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. If we’re ever in the area again for a tournament, we’ll definitely be back!”

“Went here for the first time today and they were locking the door but we're kind enough to let us in. We tried jersey shore flavor and it tasted homemade. The ice cream was soft and creamy, not at all icy. The Carmel tasted home made and not out of a jar. They are open even though it looks closed when you drive buy. Clean and neat. Much better Ice cream than the one by Trenton market”

“The best pizza and pasta and hoagie joint in Ewing and probably better than anything within 50 miles. We absolutely love this place. Whether it’s a regular pie or one of the specialties or a Brooklyn it’s always great. The cheesesteaks are awesome and loaded with toppings. The subs are piled high. The fancy pasta dishes are better than you’ll get in most restaurants. They are good to their staff and great to their customers. This is a rare business and they deserve to be appreciated for it.”

“Nubia (manager) and her staff are lovely and the flavors/variety are impressive! It’s great to have a place like this on campus - a nice mix of faculty/staff and students use this for lunch. It’s a mix of buffet style with a formal dining room experience (wait staff for drinks and busking the tables). Nubia really makes you feel at home! Go check it out. All for about $10!”

Boooy they did not disappoint ! I haven’t been here in months and Destiny and the crew took care of me.

I had 2 burgers with 3 patties each with no cheese , no Fries’s.

On each burger I had Mushrooms , jalapeño peppers , grilled onions , grilled green peppers.

It taste so fresh so juicy even without sauce.

Destiny was kind and enthusiastic from the time I ordered to when I receive it . She also made sure all communication about my order was done efficiently and make sure no cheese on my burgers and helped speed the process of me receiving my order.

“Really good lamb over rice, one of the better ones in the area. Friendly, hard-working staff. The first time I went, it was very close to closing and I had not ordered ahead. They easily could have grumbled about it, as it was a Friday and I am sure they wanted to clean up and go home, and they still could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. Will definitely return.”

“This is a great place to sit down and have breakfast on a bagel. They also make really good bagels, I have discovered this place through the phone app called too. Good to go, I highly recommend this app. But because of this app I have brought my grandson here several times for breakfast on Saturday mornings.

Parking: It's a standard strip center. There's plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: I don't know how to describe kid friendly except to say that it is a place I feel comfortable bringing my grandson into.
