“My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this restaurant. Every time we try to get ramen anywhere else after eating here, nothing compares. Each time we come, I get the Ajika Ramen and the pork buns. It’s almost comical how good everything is, the beverages are great, the food is great, the staff is kind and generous, I literally watched a woman working here give a stuffed animal and free boba to children sitting next to us, and lollipops to a family of young boys leaving. Always impeccable. You can depend on this place to deliver in all senses be it service, quality, and food.”

“My first time here and I guarantee it won’t be my last! What an amazing experience this was, as we were doing a college drop off and was famished! Everyone understood the assignment, from the moment we waked in we were greeted so warmly, the aroma of the food cooking in the back was a sure sign to sit and order. The place is a hidden gem, my party of 6 were easily accommodated without a reservation, drinks and apps came quickly and when the mains came out you could hear a pin drop! The food was so good, the only communication needed was the nods and grunts of absolute satisfaction. Meats well seasoned and flavorful, tacos- perfection, soups, rice, beans, chips were all 10/10. Set at a great price point, with smiles from staff all the time. Truly a wonderful place.”

“We were in town last night for a sports tournament and stumbled upon the Firkin Tavern. With four kids and four adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, especially since the tavern was pretty busy with only one server. At first, we were a little concerned it might be overwhelming, but Mike, our waiter, quickly proved us wrong. He was absolutely amazing! Despite the crowd, he handled everything seamlessly and was extremely attentive. The food also exceeded our expectations, it wasn’t just typical bar food.. everything was delicious and really impressed us. If we’re ever in the area again for a tournament, we’ll definitely be back!”

“This is one of two breakfast spots where I enjoy the shrimp and grits. It's very delicious and filling! I get bacon to add to the grits because everything is better with bacon. The latte was also hot for almost my whole meal; everywhere else it's cold after five minutes. I'm not sure how they're doing that, but I hope they keep doing it! All the employees are polite as well. I come from another state to eat here because I love the food and the service is great.”

“The best pizza and pasta and hoagie joint in Ewing and probably better than anything within 50 miles. We absolutely love this place. Whether it’s a regular pie or one of the specialties or a Brooklyn it’s always great. The cheesesteaks are awesome and loaded with toppings. The subs are piled high. The fancy pasta dishes are better than you’ll get in most restaurants. They are good to their staff and great to their customers. This is a rare business and they deserve to be appreciated for it.”

“This was my first time here so I can't leave a review on food quality but I can honestly say that the young lady who helped me here was a blessing today. My fiance's Birthday is tomorrow and I was driving around and looking for a place to get a cake. Nobody would have had a cake ready by tomorrow and I wouldn't have been able to get a cake special made for my fiance as I wanted too. I wound up looking on Google and came across this place by chance and it was actually located not far from my home. It's a place that if you didn't know or look on Google, you probably would have driven right passed the Rd it's on and never paid attention to. I'm very thankful to have found it and I purchased the cake I wanted and was very happy with the experience. Both of the young ladies there were helpful and professional. The lady whom I ordered the cake with listened to what kinda decorations, design, cake kind and frosting I wanted. Gave me an absolutely perfect experience and put a smile on my face while I walked out. The inside of the store was clean, not to much on display and that's kinda a plus to me so thing's aren't stale or wasted. Probably one of the best little bakery's I came across in a while. I bought 4 cookies x2 chocolate chip and x2 peanut butter cookies and the cake. I'll leave another review after I pick up the cake with the quality of the tast. I was told there was a $1 charge for sprinkles!!! This new pricing is not posted on their current menu. Patrons should not be charged for this until it’s visibly posted on the menu.”

“I haven’t been here in about 4 years and we would always get the chicken and pork skewers, at least 10 at a time (back then they were only about $2 a piece. Well coming in today, they are a whopping $5.49! Wow!! Although the food is very tasty, I don’t think I’ll be back. And don’t get me wrong, I understand this new economy and all but that’s way too expensive and the skewers are much smaller too!”

The tortilla had that inviting, buttery aroma that hinted at a satisfying bite. It was cut into even triangular sections, with gooey cheese stretching between them, making it visually appetizing. On the side, T-Dubs includes the best salsa.”

“Stayed here with my family while visiting Sesame Place. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the refrigerator is so helpful when traveling with kids. Lots of free parking and it's only 15 minutes from Sesame Place which was convenient. The tvs can stream Amazon and Netflix which was a huge plus with a very tired toddler who wanted to watch her shows. The pool was a nice temperature but the hot tub was a bit on the cooler side-I did have a two year old with me so any time spent in there relaxing wasn't going to happen anyway. They had a crib available which was great. The only issue we had was with the dining in the lobby. We went down to eat dinner and there was only one person working the bar AND the kitchen so the full time we waited to order until our last dish came was over 1.5 hours. The man who was doing it all was so nice and it was not his fault that he was left with no help and the food was good. But if you are traveling with kids and thought the restaurant in the hotel would be easy and convenient, you might want to have a backup plan before your hungry kids start to lose it. It would be great if they had some complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby since you cannot really get a coffee you pay for quickly and that little room coffee maker just doesn't cut it! There's also not a lot around unless you head back to the Sesame Place area (as far as I could tell). Other than that it was a good stay for us.”

“Nubia (manager) and her staff are lovely and the flavors/variety are impressive! It’s great to have a place like this on campus - a nice mix of faculty/staff and students use this for lunch. It’s a mix of buffet style with a formal dining room experience (wait staff for drinks and busking the tables). Nubia really makes you feel at home! Go check it out. All for about $10!”

“Really good lamb over rice, one of the better ones in the area. Friendly, hard-working staff. The first time I went, it was very close to closing and I had not ordered ahead. They easily could have grumbled about it, as it was a Friday and I am sure they wanted to clean up and go home, and they still could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. “I recommend that your Managers learn Customer Service etiquette. My daughter & I purchased dinner last night(9/7/12) early evening. First, the young lady taking the order mentioned salt is not put on the fries when My daughter requested “no salt”(We know better than this, we are frequent customers). After waiting for our order I realized the “girl” (I think she is a manager)preparing the fries sprinkled salt on the fries so I mentioned it to my daughter so approached “the girl” to let her no salt was not ordered for the fries and she rolled her eyes as though it was my daughter’s fault that she put salt on our fries. “The girl” made more fries but when she called our order number (33) she slammed the bag down and slid the bag toward my daughter with “attitude on her face” I reacted by saying “did she just slam down the bag and slide it across the counter”? I did not make a scene because I didn’t want to embarrass her. I spent $24 for food and I did nothing to deserve her “nasty attitude” what she needs to do is train her employees properly and learn what Customer Service means. I will make a call to the Owner”
