Brown stewed chicken was on point as well as everything else I had. Hands down the best thing I ate since being up north. Whenever I’m in the area again this will be a definite go to spot.

This Jamaican restaurant stands out as one of the best, if not the very best, in the area. The flavors are consistently outstanding, and the portions are generous.

I literally ordered from this restaurant last week. Whomever is cooking on 11/15/23 need to be fired. The mac and cheese have a sour taste to it and definitely came from a fast food restaurant and the cabbage was extremely undercooked ans loaded with carrots and no seasoning. Literally all you taste is carrots. Y'all should be ashamed. Then I called and the lady says nothing in regards to my complaint.

Best Oxtail and rice and peas that i've ever had. Even the mac and cheese is baked and delicious which is rare coming from a caribbean restaurant. whoever is back there cooking went to a very good culinary school at least I assume. Best Caribbean restaurant that I've been to so far between South Jersey and Philly.

When to get something to eat. The store was empty and not as clean as you would expect. The women that were working were extremely slow. It was late afternoon and they said that they were out of alot of dishes. Peas and rice goes with almost everything how do run out. overall I would probably never go back to this place. We should have gone to Bamboo in Hamilton.

So glad they finally opened. Had the curry goat, rice & peas & cabbage. The food was very good & hearty portions. Will definitely be back to try the ox tails. Keep up the good work Walker!UPDATE: Lately, I have noticed that the curry goat has too many slivers of bones which is dangerous & not enjoyable to be picking this out while eating.

Food is great. However, I called Tuesday-Saturday to order escovitch fish and every day I called I was told they don't have it. Funny how you have the fish to make brown stew but not escovitch. It's on the menu but you never have it. The reason for not having it is because you can't find the fish but then again you found it to make brown stew. Bamboo and Island dream have no problem getting the fish.

Wow, I am Jamaican me happy and my belly. From the second, we walked in our greeting, explaining the hot dish items the evening to spice level food, preparation, questions, all delivered with a smile. From first meal here, my wife decided to make sort of a combo which was curry, chicken and jerk chicken with white rice and mac & cheese, and I have to tell you everything was outstanding for me the curry chicken I felt was it a different night necessarily better but I loved it way more than the jerk chicken. Curry chicken fell right off the bone Arrows full of flavor it was moist for my dinner. I had the snapper brown stew the whole fish, and I had the cabbage vegetable on the side with plantains, and it was just cooked to perfection.Next time I go back, I have to try the ox tail .

I got the jerk chicken and rice and peas. The chicken tasted old and tough like it was made the day before and left to sit out. The rice and peas tasted old and hard like that also was from the day before. The flavors were good though. I won't be coming back.

Nope! I'm not saying the food is good but what I had was not. I'm also from the Caribbean and often cook the same dishes. It could be better certain seasons should've been used but were not, for instance, allspice doesn't go well with everything.
