“Hi, just wanted to say. How great this place is. I ordered on Satuday. They forgot to add my 2 chicken empanadas to my pick up oder. I called and left a message but they were closed. I called on Monday spoke to Stepanie and she was very apologetic. She suggested i pick them up. Which I did. Long story short. They replaced it with 4 empanadas. Great customer service. Empanadas are delicious. Recommend highly..Many blessings for their business.. Will order again...”

“Thanks for the yelp elite invite. In little part of town is a hidden gem. Must have past it numerous times. What a great experience! It was my first visit at New Territories, a Hong Kong inspired ice cream and dessert shop. When I walked in, I was greeted by nuz one of the workers there. Warm welcome & big smile.She was super informative about the menu and so much fun to talk to. Then I met the owner , Pete. Explained to me to story of the store pretty amazing. They are famous for their bubble waffles. Was hot and fresh with along with vanilla ice cream & sprinkles. I had the double lemon float with lemonade and lemon sherbet as well. Store was very clean. There was about 15 flavors of ice cream to choose from. Definitely will be going back. “We love coming to Oceanos. We can count on them for the freshest specials. I love the special feeling when the waitstaff remember us and seat us at our favorite, regular table. The outside space is heated and beautifully designed. The only downside of Oceanos is that they don't have seasonal cocktails, it's always the same drinks which are delicious but sometimes you want a change.”

“Found my new bagel store. Used to go to Modern but the place went so far downhill (they use a Panini Press to toast a bagel, yuk), then I saw River Rd Bagels. Wow, what a world of difference. Better prices, much better food and a great team! Definitely my new bagel store! Thank you!!!!!!!”

“I've lived in Fair Lawn my whole life and never visited up until a couple months ago. I went to a place in Saddle Brook which is also great. But that place was closed on a Monday so I came to Great Wall. Very happy. Reasonably priced and delicious. NOT SALTY! I can't tell you the difference in the quality of food. The owner is such a sweet person too. Always smiling and thank you. Give it a try!!!”

“I have been eating at Belle Vita since 2003, when I moved to Fairlawn.

The place has alway had extra great pizza, the owner/pizza maker having honed his skills in the dog-eat-dog pizza capitol of Brooklyn, NY where pizza HAS to be top notch or you close shop.

It has not dissappionted all these years.

12 years ago, I moved from Fairlawn to another town (4 miles) away, but still occasionally come back for their pizza.

The place has lost traffic since Shoprite moved a few miles away a few years back (2 or 3 years ago), but the pizza quality still remains the same.

I especially recommend their chicken marsala pizza. You used to be able to buy it by the slice, when there was more traffic.

Now, you have to buy it by the pie (less business due to Shoprite), but it's to die for, and I am sure your family will love it.

And the service is still just as good.

I am 23 years a Belle Vita pizza fan. Still just as good as the first day I moved into Fairlawn, and found them.”

“Goes this place doesn't have a higher rating on Google is beyond me. The falefal is a 5 o ut of 5 The rice is the best I've ever had. It's both soft and creamy almost! I'm having the lamb shish kaboblan special. It is juicy and not chewy. Nothing is ever over salted here or overcooked the many times that I've been here. I even drive here for lunch 20 minutes away, even though there's Middle Eastern places a few minutes away from my job. The beef liver is great. Here the baba ganoush and hummus are tasty. Not oily. Very good lentil soup. It really tastes homemade!”

“Some of the best hand rolled bagels in NJ. Great crisp crust and wonderfully chewy textured inside. For those that are complaining they do not have a griddle, I believe they have a Kosher certification which means no meat can be served here since they use cream cheese (dairy). This was our go to bagel place when we lived in Fair Lawn, now we live in SC, and we come here to stock up on bagels to take south on every visit to NJ.”

“This is a great Chinese take out in a dying strip mall. The kind proprietor maintains very fair prices and pumps out freshly prepared food with the flavors many of us in the area were accustomed to from Chinese-American take out. These days many Chinese-American restaurants have hopped onto the bandwagon of dishes that are chock full of sugar and oversauced. Parking is convenient since many of the businesses in the area are closed.”

“We had a great meal and time here! We had the eggplant and the meatballs both recommended by our server, Erin. For pizzas we did the hot honey and caprese both EXCELLENT!!! We ended the night with cannolis, would come back just for these, mouth watering!!! Erin was attentive and helped us with any question we had, she truly made our night with her bubbly personality and knowledge of the menu. Would come back request her and those cannolis!!!! “Service was amazing. I had a waitress who thankfully spoke spanish to help my mom order! She was kind patient and our orders came quickly. The prices shocked me, as they were very affordable for a good quantity of food! Me personally I loved the sushi and my mom enjoyed her chicken teriyaki. They also offered us free appetizers including chicken bites and steaks, salads and soups. The ambience of the place is very nice as well.”

“Actually the food is very good. The old owner was very bad in dealing but now with the new owner the dealing is great and the service is good. Also the delivery service of the restaurant is the best if you want to get the food as quickly as possible I do not recommend delivery companies. The honest driver in the restaurant is the best thing and if you do not like anything you will talk to him and he will bring you your order again as soon as possible. Thank you for your kindness”

“I've been going to this Haagen-Dazs for about 13 years since we moved to Fair Lawn. The service has always been very friendly and the atmosphere is nice especially since it was renovated a few years ago.

Being a premium brand, the offerings are always delicious regardless of flavor. But, my favorites are Bourbon Praline Pecan, Rocky Road and Pineapple Coconut. My son likes their Cookies & Cream Shakes. As with any other H-D, they offer ice cream cakes as well. Refer to my pics for prices.

There are a several tables as well as a barstools along the front window.

“It’s nice to find an old fashioned sit down Chinese restaurant. A very extensive Chinese/ Japanese/ hibachi menu. We had the Chinese lunch specials. Large assortment and a large portion. Portions were all fresh and presented well. Service a bit slow but server was extremely pleasant. They also have sushi. Saw a ton of takeout orders going. I’ll be back.”

“I was there last night for dinner and had their Teriyaki Charburger (which was AMAZING, btw), and this was my 2nd visit at the Fair Lawn location. The service was great, and it was really nice seeing the crew get complimented (publicly), for a job well done. I think that is something we need more of. “Lately terrible . Portions of food are l so cut down .. I ordered meatball hero and if there was 2 meatballs on it I’d be shocked .. was all bread . I know economy is hurting but so Are we !!!! I’d rather pay higher prices but don’t scrimp on the portions…. Chicken dinners are half the usual meat . I been going there for years regular weekly with family or ordering out. I am through now …. We are all hurting ..also now they charge fir extra dressing on salad !! Just I’ve past 18 months or so . Very disappointed but even if food is decent for our area , I can’t buy a meatball hero and have to go buy a whopper right after I’m done because I’m still hungry!!!! Beware all in Fair Lawn , search elsewhere.”
