River roads bagels just down the block is good, but I dont get all hype for it. its not worth 'line out the door type of place' Luckily we have A&V bagels which opened roughly a year ago. Can't go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup on the weekend. Decided to give A&V Bagel a visit after seeing some recommendations from other people from town. We were warmly welcomed and took a glimpse of the menu. Even though we already knew what we wanted. They have a variety of breakfast sandwiches and breakfast platters. Great new bagel place in the area. Bagels are legit and not skimpy like some of the other Bergen bagels I have tried. Looks like they boil and bake their own on premises. All of the standard types of bagels and spreads, reasonably priced. The poppy with scallion spread was really good. Will definitely be back when in town.
