River roads bagels just down the block is good, but I dont get all hype for it. its not worth 'line out the door type of place' Luckily we have A&V bagels which opened roughly a year ago. Rarely crowded and much better staff and bagels. The owner who always wears his mask wrong lol his cool and friendly. Usually hell give me an extra bagel or mini bagelLots to order besides the run of the mill bagel items. They also offer cheese steaks, cubans and other sandwiches. The breakfast platters are also very tasty and prices right. I recommend A&V over River and modern bagels.

Can't go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup on the weekend. Decided to give A&V Bagel a visit after seeing some recommendations from other people from town. We were warmly welcomed and took a glimpse of the menu. Even though we already knew what we wanted. They have a variety of breakfast sandwiches and breakfast platters. They also soo many hot and cold sandwiches. We placed our order with the owner for our sandwiches and he quickly began our order. We also had ordered breakfast platters. We watched as the owner made our food fresh and everything smelled delicious!! Def liked seeing the food being made fresh on the grill. Prices were also quite fair. We arrived home and my bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel hit the spot!!! And my parents enjoyed their breakfast platters. The home fries were delish! We will definitely be back again. The owner was super friendly and kind. And they have such a great variety of sandwiches at great prices. Glad to support this family business!

For 20$ it’s not worth trying! I asked for Taylor ham and egg no cheese , I got a sandwich with cheese. And got a bag of expired chips over a week expired

Great new bagel place in the area. Bagels are legit and not skimpy like some of the other Bergen bagels I have tried. Looks like they boil and bake their own on premises. All of the standard types of bagels and spreads, reasonably priced. The poppy with scallion spread was really good. Will definitely be back when in town.
