This is one of my favorite little spots in Fairfield. If your looking for something that tastes good. This place is worth a visit - they have anything from rice and pepper steak to a fresh cold cut sandwhich.
La cocina is a great spot for lunch, breakfast that won't break your pocket around the area. You can get a decent size portion of food for under $10 bucks. I am talking rice, beans and meat of your choice for less than $10. I work approximately $5 driving from here and travel to get food. Flavor is great (it's not a restaurant), but it will definitely get you out of a pinch if you're on a budget. I love this spot.

I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter.
