This is our Flemington/Raritan go-to. My family has tried every Mexican place in town and Viva is hands down, the best in our opinion. Their chicken has never been dry (something a lot of other places suffer from) and their salsas are so flavorful.We just tried their breakfast too (tres leches french toast and chorizo omelet) and that did not disappoint either.I urge everyone in town to try all of the different Mexican spots they can, you'll almost definitely end up coming back to this one.

If you like being chiseled, go here. Small complimentary chips and salsa. If you want more chips, you have to pay $5.95 for gucamole, which is essentially half an avocado, AND chips do NOT come with it. I guess they must want you to eat the gucamole with a spoon unless you pay for chips! We had the smallest enchiladas and burritos ever. And they get you on the way out with a debit/credit card fee. And their receipt with the recommended tip starts with a minimum recommended tip of 20%.

Fresh, delicious food with the friendliest staff you could imagine. Such a lovely casual atmosphere. The huge vegetarian burrito with mole sauce is amazing and it's hard to finish, it's so generous. Bring a few beers and you'll love it here!

The staff is very friendly and the service was great. I sat in the back and it felt like I was in a home. The guacamole and chips kept me busy while they worked on the main course. I was so happy to see that they had churros, I love them!
