The management company doesn't return calls. This has been going on for five years. Right now my bathroom ceiling has a hole in it due to a leak. So basically, they're screwing the owner by letting the problem get worse and ruin the walls, basically expediting the depreciation of the property. I'd expect nothing less from the people who let the parking garage get condemned. If you love losing money on your investments, The Palisades is the place for you!

Moved in as a renter 3.5 years ago having picked this building because of its great views, big apartments, pet-friendly, and super facilities. By the middle of year one we had decided that this was going to be our long term home and when a 3BR came up for sale in the line we loved, we bought it. The building has a nice gym with new equipment and open space, an indoor play space for little ones, and dry cleaner on site. The convenience store on the ground floor is a wonderful bonus that lets you grab little last minute things or get Sunday breakfast without going outside. The outdoor space provides not only a pool and BBQ's but also a big patio area overlooking the city and a garden area to enjoy. The building had a big renovation this past year with interior improvements as well as redoing the garage to be a modern, bright, and safe space.

If there was a ZERO star rating that is what this building deserves! Riddled with problems of every description today has been the worst of all. Woke up at 8am with an explosion - I can only assume a burst pipe - and then my bath tub started to fill up with brown water! To prevent it overflowing my niece and I had to empty the tub with buckets only for it to keep filling up - it is 1pm - I have made 6 calls to the front desk to get a plumber - I'm still waiting - they keep assuring me the plumber is in his way - now I have strained a muscle in my back from the heave water buckets! The building is a disaster!!!!

I lived there for 4 years. Owned a condo there. the staff is rude and the people who run the place, the condo mgmt are very self-serving at the expense of other residents. They do not allow dogs near the expensive townhomes on level lobby where many of the condo reps live, but they allow dogs through the residential halls on the same leve. The dogs regulatly leave droppings in the hall so I sold and left. The parking garage is crowded and rhe ramps are ridiculuous.

I've been living here for about three years now and the building is only getting better! Besides the great views of Manhattan, there's a spacious lawn for kids to play on, a BBQ area, outdoor seating to relax and pool that was just renovated last year! Other building amenities are an indoor playroom for kids, a gym (which will be upgraded soon), a dry-cleaner (in the building!), a community room, library, meeting room and a convenient store. The units are all really spacious and the hallways are also getting renovated this year soon. The building is in a perfect location. Right by NJT Bus service into the city and a few blocks from the GWB if you're driving in. It's also right across the street from the Palisade Interstate Park which is great for hiking, biking and picnics! The building is also pet friendly which is a huge plus for your four legged friend. They even have a dog park on the property. This is a great place to live and the community is so friendly.

This place is amazing - it couldn't be better situated, with breathtaking views and easy access to just about anywhere. The ammenities are exactly what you'd expect in a luxury highrise condo: doorman, security, valet for guests, gym, children's playroom, library, community room with billiards and ping pong. Outside there's a pool / hot tub, grills, a great grassy area for kids to play. The building is about 10 years old now, so the current mgmt is going through a capital plan to re-do some of the common areas, update them, etc. An amazing place to call home, so glad I purchased here.

I intended on writing a long winded review but thought why a review when I can post up a list of Rules that all tenants must abide by? (We get this on a monthly basis - either email, under the door or both!) Yay! Basically, it reflects an environment of living in facilities that are constantly deteriorating. The mail below is something all the residents receive on a monthly basis. So - take note of the nickel and diming or residents (even after very high maintenance fees), issues with security, rules upon rules, overcrowded situations, fines, and no fun at all for the kids) I thought it was bad but its getting progressively worse. Apts. AND Cars are getting burgularized. (Both from Theives as well as the management company) Well, enjoy reading the below! I attached images of the mailing that I get as well. With the pool season right around the corner, it is time to finally begin getting our pool passes ready!! As many of our residents know, last year we switched from simple white badges to photo ID passes that had each resident's name and unit number. These same passes will be used again this year and we will simply issue an update sticker on them. In order to receive an update sticker, all residents that already had a photo pass issued to them last year will be required to provide the following documentation to the management office: * Proof of your current homeowner's or renter's insurance. * A completed Pet Registration Form (if you have not already provided one) & all required documentation (if applicable) * A completed information update form. Residents new to the building must also provide the above listed items and must have their picture taken for their pool pass. It is important that residents submit all of the required paperwork together, as it will not be accepted if any documentation is missing, including veterinary documentation for your Pet Registration form. If any resident has lost their pool pass from last year, there is a $5 fee associated with replacing your pass. This may be paid via check or credit card. We would like to remind all residents to please keep our pool rules and regulations in mind this summer to help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the pool. A copy of these rules and regulations have been attached to this email for your convenience. The barbeque grills are ready for use and we encourage all of our residents to take an opportunity to enjoy them!! However, please keep in mind that parties in the barbeque area are not permitted at any time and this rule will be strictly enforced. The cooperation of all of our residents is greatly appreciated in this matter. In the event that a resident is expecting a delivery and must utilize the elevators, it is important that they contact the management office in advance and schedule a time to reserve the elevators in order to ensure that we are able to accommodate them. Recently, a large number of deliveries have arrived to the building, unscheduled, and we have had no choice but to turn them away and have them reschedule. Throughout the property, several push bars have been installed on doors leading out of the building. These push bars have been installed for security purposes and are connected to an alarm. These are now considered emergency exits and anyone found exiting through one of these doors for any other reason will be fined immediately. The fine for a first time violation is $250.00, a 2nd violation is $500.00 and a third violation is $1,000.00. It is extremely important that residents do not exit through these doors unless there is a true emergency. Thank you. Building Recon services will be performing waterproofing and caulking around the windows and heat pumps in the '03 & '04 line over the next month, in addition to the work mentioned last week, in the '05 & '06. Residents in these lines should not be alarmed if they see workman outside of their unit windows We kindly ask that all parents clean up the children's playroom after use
