The food was delicious! The place is beautiful! Our server was kind and attentive. The food was so delicious, we requested to speak to the chef! He came out to meet us, and was very kind and humble. The only things worth noting was they take your complete order together and it is rapidfire between appetizers and dinner. I really would’ve enjoyed some space in between, especially because the restaurant was not very busy. Also, the server that brought our food out was a little sloppy and spilled the food juices all over all of our jackets. We didn’t notice it till the end of dinner and didn’t want to mention it to put a negative spin on our positive experience. Also, there is a 3.99% surcharge for using credit cards, which is not uncommon these days but I felt a little on the higher side. Overall, we were all extremely happy with our meals, the portion size, and the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It was so good that the things that were a little off still will not take away my five stars.

Just ordered a cunan sandwich for take out. But when I went in to pickup the layout and atmosphere was really nice and pleasant. The sandwich was good. Not crazy about the cheese. But looking over the menu I saw a lot of dishes that I'll be trying g over the next few visits.

I visited here with a group of four last night. We were looking for something different from the ordinary chain or numerous Italian restaurants in central NJ. They did not disappoint. I can’t say if the food was authentic as I am not from Cuba but the flavors were very good and the quality was high. Don’t miss their empanadas. The dough is light, flaky and not greasy. The beef filling had a great flavor. I had the Lechon Asado and it was very enjoyable and moist (albeit a little difficult to eat for a novice). One in my party got the Tres Leches cake which was the star dessert. It’s bring your own if you want wine. There is a liquor store right across the street. Plenty of parking lots in and around Main Street Freehold.Parking: Lots of places including near the courthouse.

Just not it. Food is mediocre and over priced. The owners are rude and cheap. Don’t expect service to be above or beyond your expectations.

Authentic Cuban food. We ordered the Cubano sandwich with fried plantains and pork belly for the appetizer. The pork belly was incredibly tender, I cut it with a spoon. And the sauce was very flavorful. The chicken dish in the picture was amazing, get bone in chicken over chicken breast for more flavor and tenderness

How things have changed in the restaurant business post-pandemic. What you experience now in many establishments is increased prices and less quality and this restaurant falls right in line with this trend. I ordered the chicharrones de pollo and it was nothing more than deep fried breading pretending to contain chicken. It was tasty but the chicken was barely detectable not to mention how unhealthy it was. We also ordered the octopus appetizer and again, there was hardly any octopus. I'm crossing this place off.

Never again. Server was not even remotely friendly. Paid $17 for 1/2 c of barely warm rice and maybe a 1/4 of black beans - also barely warm. My husband had the Cuban sandwich which he liked. When my husband said something about the portion size of my lunch the waiter literally shrugged his shoulders. Not the cleanest or well kept restaurant either.

Love this Restaurant it has outside sitting with umbrellas to cover yourself from the sun. I had shrimps in garlic souce with yellow rise. It was very tasty. Dessert was Flan with a Cuban coffee wich is the equivalent of an Italian expresso but in a small size. The Sangria had no alcohol but kind of citrucy with pieces of apples and oranges and lots of ice. Wow very refreshing. No alcohol is served at this Restaurant, but you can bring your own. Tips must be given in cash only. BON APPETITE.

Love this restaurant! Food is great and the staff is very friendly. I've been dining here for 10 years and it's very consistent

I ordered Lechon Asado. Portion was so big I wish I could have finished it. The flavor was superb. Mary our waitress was wonderful. I will be back.

My wife and children and a group of 10 dined there last Thursday. The server was rude to my 12 year old daughter. He accused her of playing around when a glass broke and yelled at her. His conduct was rude and inappropriate. He needs to learn a thing or two about how to treat customers.

This place wants to be Cuban, however the food that this restaurant serves is the exact food a stay-at-home dad would make for his kids on a whim! My family ate at this place today and I do not think that I have ever spent $90 for a sandwich lunch in my life! And not just any lunch, a subpar lunch! I would have been better off spending my money at a steakhouse for lunch! I most definitely would have been more satisfied! What is the owner thinking?!!! The check comes in a cigar box with a note that I should give a tip in cash. What owner does this?!! I went next door to grab $20 out of the atm for a $3.50 surcharge to tip the guy who expected something in the first place. I felt had after leaving this restaurant.

We loved this place when it first opened and still enjoy going there but was disappointed with the paella at our recent night out. There was so much rice we lost the seafood. The ribs were delicious and my daughter's go to. The staff and service was still excellent.

The Mofongo was made with yellow and green plantains. That's a no-no sir. Charging as much as you charge you should know better. Also spend some money renovating your bathroom. Not so authentic Cuban food and the food was blah for the money

Was here with 5 couples on Saturday Night. To say this least it was a very poor experience. Believe it or not the waitress spilled 2 full glasses of water on me. Our waitress offered a sincere apology but Management basically looked away with no acknowledgement. Waitress forgot to order 3 out of 10 main dishes leaving me and the others sitting for 20 minutes while everyone was eating. Restaurant had no steak knives and suggested you use the table butter knife to cut you steak or pork chop! Food is Ok but nothing special. Surprised this place has been around this long with such poor management. Last but least .. Management finally came over and offered us 10% off the bill for the poor service and shower I received. What a disgrace! Probably won't be back
