“Tranquility General Store is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The food is just beyond amazing and Chris always gives my 2 year old a little treat snack. In a world dominated by fast food and chain stores, this place is refreshingly original.“

“my family and I had lunch here and really enjoyed it. The place is clean and there is plenty of parking. Food was fresh and they provided great customer service. Would have liked to see bigger cheesesteak portions and or bread. Wings were pretty good and so was their lemonade. Would definitely come back for the wings but not the cheese steaks.“

“We wanted a cake with our cats photo on it. After about an hour waiting, it was determined it wasn't going to be possible. Chris, the young man helping us, kept checking with us during our wait. He showed us a gel icing likeness of our cat he did. After about an hour, we decided to go with the icing likeness, rather than the photo. It came out fantastic! Chris refused to charge us and just kept apologizing. We told We understood and didn't feel he needed to apologize. No matter how much we insisted, he would not take our money. That right there, is excellent customer service. We have always gone to DQ in Newton to get our ice cream cakes. After today, trust me, we will ALWAYS go to DQ in Newton! Thanks Chris! “The manager did an excellent job. She's so sweet and welcoming. The place looked great, clean and festive and the wait staff was friendly fun and attentive. Everyone was having a good time and enjoying the evening. I had chicken bacon waffles and my date had jalapeño cheeseburgers both with the fries. Yum.“
