“This is an overdue review, one which I should have done weeks ago. We really enjoyed Hackettstown Bagels, Deli, and Grill, and were especially impressed by the owner’s accommodating us. I should explain. It was Christmas week, when it seems everything is a bit more frantic than the rest of the year. We had been out shopping for a car, and time got by us. We walked in to Hackettstown Bagels, Deli, and Grill and learned that they would be closing in a few minutes. The owner came over and assured us that we had plenty of time, that he had a number of things to do before the lights went out. We ordered, and enjoyed our bagels as most of the patrons left the small dining area. We were never rushed, the staff was pleasant to us, the owner most cordial. As we left I could not help but notice, as I looked in the rear view mirror, that, indeed, the lights went out. That's customer service!pWe since have been back a couple of times. We can heartily recommend the Cheese Steak sandwich and that most iconic Jersey treat: a Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese. Each visit has confirmed that Hackettstown Bagels, Deli, and Grill is committed to a great customer experience with good, fresh product at reasonable prices served with pride and with pleasing their customers.“
“Here's the deal: quaint road side deli During COVID they are guiding people to a pick up/ order line in front of deli. Small place trying to make good food. Not a very large menu, but they seem to focus on quality of food. I've had 2 of their "sloppy Joe" sandwiches (Turkey & roast beef). Both had great portions and were very tasty ..... also had a special grilled roast beef /cheesesteak sandwich off the specials list It was delicious! So when you can. Pass up the QuickChek or the WaWa and keep giving small business a visit“

“We all know the prices for meats and eggs etc have sored, but the size of their portions and quality of the food makes it easy to come back again and again. Also, they use Boars Head meets, which are natural and not processed. Nice people to deal with. You won't regret stopping in there.“
