This had been a 5 star review until today (4/09/24). Absolutely horrible experience. My food was cold and disgusting. Kitchen was apparently too busy, laughing and carrying on, to do their jobs. The 12yo manager too young and inexperienced to even offer a partial refund. I paid full price for garbage food. Completely unacceptable service. Will NEVER return. I see now why they have only a 3.8 put of 5 rating. Just awful experience.

Literally, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The waiter got our order wrong. The food we did get was served cold, and after our correct order was served, we still had to wait an additional ten minutes for silverware. Also, we never got a drink refill despite our glasses sitting there empty. I would have spoken up, but our waiter was nowhere to be found.

To start, we were seated with a dirty table. Next, I was served my drink with food stuck on the rim. Absolutely disgusting. Then the food was either cold or not fully cooked. Cheese wasn’t even melted (cold strips), biscuit was cold in the middle as well as disintegrated when squished, the pancakes were undercooked, and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. The place is unkempt and extremely dirty. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom I unfortunately had to use. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously poor. We didn’t see him for over 20 minutes. Would not ever return - second chance we gave this place won’t give any more. To explain the ‘second chance’, we tried coming here one time prior but stood at the front desk for 11 minutes - with servers and all personnel looking at us yet not saying one word - so we left. Not one person said “the host will be right with you” anything!- legitimately just stared at us. If I could give zeros stars I would. I need a shower just leaving the building.

The chicken fingers for my kids were horrible. They were still burnt and really bad the washroom disgusting I didn’t even want to go use it it was so dirty They need to do better service wasn’t bad it was just busy so I don’t blame the girl that was helping us. She was extremely friendly though

Walked in to the hackettstown ihop was seated we sat there for 10 min and nobody came to our table we walked out.
First off, the actual hours differ from what is on Google. They do not close at 10pm, rather 8pm. If we had known this, we would not have shown up at 7:30. The food was okay but not as good as some other times we've eaten there.

This is a review for the Mt.Olive/Hackettstown IHOP.This place is tricky. Every time I have gone, I have gotten a table quickly, gotten my order taken quickly, drinks come out at a reasonable...but the food order....It can take 45 min-1 hr. This is pancakes people. I just don't think they have enough people working as cooks. And I have gone 3 times in the past year...generally during breakfast/brunch time (10 AM -1 PM)The food comes out nicely done for the most part, but I can't justify such a long wait.I will probably not come come back to this IHOP, and if I am in the area...go to a diner.
