Nothing happening on a weeknight, no music playing overhead. The one lady hosting/serving wasn't particularly enthusiastic, but otherwise fine service. Food is good. Love the indoor plants though.
This was such a hard review to write, that I considered not writing it at all. The people are truly lovely, salt of the earth, kind and hard working. The quintessential mom and pop restaurant. The service is limited by it literally being a mom and pop restaurant, with roughly 3 employees total. The sashimi was fresh, but too cold to have flavor. The portion (regular sushi) was very good. The eel roll was very tastey, however the sushi rice was not sturdy enough to keep the rolls together when picked up with the chop sticks.Service was very good.
