In town from Newark (NJ) and heard good things about this place ... and did not disappoint. Hats off to the staff, as they fulfilled orders quickly to a long and growing line on Superbowl Sunday. Combo platter with 2 BBQ pork ribs and smothered pork chop was a lot of food with corn and candied yams on the side. Looks like a local favorite, understandably so, and likewise, I am certainly not the only out-of-towner to make this place a regular stop while passing through.
The smothered pork chop was to die for, so tender?(and I usually get fried). The wings were on point also. A little too much sugar in the okra, corn and tomatoes ( I'm diabetic ?). I remembered one of the cashier's from Lindenwold and as with the other establishments, everyone is super nice , which means so much. I will be going back because the peach cobbler was calling my name?.

I just DONT UNDERSTAND how they took sumone 1st when I was in line ahead of them they even called her by her first name then the guy in back of me got his food b4 Us! He even made a comment about that! We waited at least 20 minutes. I though I saw our platters but they insisted it was an doordash order!! It seems like IF Yr NOT a regular U WAIT Till they feel like waiting on U!!!
