“My boyfriend and I went to visit the restaurant two days ago and decided to do a review. as soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the owner and another associate. The owner brought us to a quiet section and was very quick with grabbing us some waters to start off with. The server came over with some hot tea and asked us if we had any questions about the menu. The seats were comfortable and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. You can tell that the owner enjoys seeing the community in his restaurant as he made his rounds around the place. We did put a order in for steam dumplings and pleasantly surprised by not only the price but the taste of them. We also ordered the fried wings and they were hot and perfectly seasoned for dinner. We ordered the triple combination that came with fried rice and it was a perfect size to split between two adults, featured a beef shrimp and a chicken dish. We both enjoyed the beef and shrimp but the chicken with peas wasn't our favorite. The chicken surprisingly didn't have as much flavor as the rest of them.“

It's a restaurant where you can talk and not noisy like a lot of restaurants. The outdoor patio is lovely in warm months. The back dining room is nice if you have a small group...perhaps up to 10. “Absolutely devoured our meals. This spot was such a great find with decent size portions and flavorful options. Ordered the corn cakes to start with which were delicious and I loved the small salad that it came with. My friend ordered the basil fried rice which I wasn't as big of a fan for since it was a tad spicy and seemed heavy handed in the spices. I don't believe they asked for the spice levels on any of the dishes we ordered either. I am still dreaming about my soup noodles I ordered. I loved how accommodating they were when I asked for a side of chicken since I wanted to share with my vegetarian friend. They came out with this huge bowl of ground chicken. The soup was flavorful and mild seasoning and not spicy for me and the noodles were cooked to perfection. We were so full we didn't have room for dessert - next time! I'll be back.“

“This place is just recently opened and received pretty good reviews, so I decided to try it out.everything we ordered was tasty with a generous portions, but the flavor was just too sweet for me and my boyfriend. I know Thai food is sweet, but this is another level of sweet. And the coconut noodle soup, it has no flavor and tasted so coconuty. It would have been better if they use rice noodle or glass noodle instead of vermicelli noodle. The ambience is plain, but it looks new and clean. The color of the building looks unattractive in my opinion.Service is good, but it takes awhile for the food to come out. They seem to be more busy with takeout orders.Overall, a decent Thai food with good portion and reasonable price. Tip: pay in CASH, you’ll get 5% off and they also accept Venmo.“

“Diving into Golden Triangle unveils not just a meal, but a passport to a culinary expedition specializing in the Southeast Asian flavors of Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar. Tucked away in the heart of Philly, this humble gem offers an intimate escape to distant lands with its quiet, casual ambiance and a cozy dining room that boasts no more than eight tables. Our adventure began with the Malaysian classic, Roti Canai -- a delightfuly crispy, flaky, chewy marvel that serves as a prelude to the symphony of flavors awaiting us. Paired with a rich curry chicken potato dip, this dish was a standing ovation in the making. Then came the Sambal Shrimp, a bold ensemble of shrimp reveling in a spicy brown sauce, creating a festival of taste that had every fork in the room longing for an encore. The Beef Rendang, while a masterpiece of flavor and tenderness with its slow-cooked, aromatic curry, left us longing for a second act, as the disappointing portion size was more of a soliloquy than a full-fledged aria.Despite the small dining room, Golden Triangle played the perfect host to our group of six (including a baby car seat), accommodating us at their sole large table--a testament to their ability to harmonize space and service. While the Mee Goreng and Penang Char Kway Teow flavors were well balance and added depth to our culinary journey, both dishes lacked a bit of the smoky "wok hay" that I was yearning for. The Burmese Kimchi introduced a zestful twist to the meal as it was our first time trying any Burmese food, but it wasn't particularly memorable. In the end, the Roti Canai and Sambal Shrimp emerged as our favorites of the night.Overall, Golden Triangle is more than a dining destination; it's a quiet nook where flavors dance and diners are invited to a show that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the heart. With its intimate atmosphere and welcoming vibe, it stands out as a beacon for those seeking an immersive culinary experience in Center City. Here's to more explorations at this quaint culinary corner, where the world feels both vast and intimately close, all within the confines of its quiet, casual dining room.“

“In the world of Thai food, this place is at the top! Deliciously wrapped spring rolls with fresh veggies, delicious curry with touches of coconut, and wonderfully flavored Thai tea with a fresh flowery flavor (really called the Iced Green Tea Latte, but it's basically a Thai Tea!). All food is cooked perfectly crisp and cooked to the optimal crispness and temperature--no soggy noodles. I personally love all their dishes especially the curry puffs, a light and yummy pastry and a light sweet sauce for dipping. Their seating is comfortable and their center tables have a half booth type setting. The music isn't too loud or anything so you can hear your conversation. I like the openness of the restaurant with the high vaulted ceilings. Their service has always been great for us. We haven't had any issues and the food comes out fairly quickly. “Huge fan of this place. Amazing curries. I think their noodle dishes are good too but I always get one of their curries. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Most dishes are somewhat modular and you can select tofu, mock chicken or mock duck, all of which are vegan friendly.“

We try different things, never disappointed. They do a lot of takeout, but I like to dine in. It is very calming in the restaurant. I'm looking forward to going back real soon.Parking: Plenty of parking, it is a shopping center.“

“Chicken pad thai was amazing! Not too spicy, the flavor brought me back to Thailand! But the thai tea boba had overcooked tapioca pearls that weren't to my liking. But the staff was extremely friendly and wasn't mad after my daughter threw a bowl on the ground and smashed it.“

“This is an update on my past takeout experience. It's usually bustling here weekends and late nights and but I managed to get a pleasant server with my own table on a Sunday evening by chance. The food is always good and affordable with a great selection of dishes but not the usual overwhelming menu which I appreciate. The green curry dish and Tom yum soup are my favorites as well as special Thai noodle dishes and of course their house 3 course fried (or boiled) chicken with ginger rice and radish side soup. So affordably priced and great for lunch or supper, but do expect a wait to be seated - it's a small local joint but mixed crowd. Only street parking on busy Race Street between 9th & 10th!“

“I ordered the Philly roll, salmon roll, and tuna roll. Portions of fish in the rolls were decent. Some a little better than others. The Chinese pizza/scallion pancake is tasty but on the crunchier side. The miso soup was good but mostly broth, not a lot of tofu. Would order again.“
