Sakana Asian Cuisine

Sakana continues to be my go-to for AYCE sushi in my area. The quality in the fish is always on point and the rolls are definitely a good mixture. One thing I would like to see are "specials" to help change up the menu for AYCE, just like how a normal sit down has those. It helps bring excitement to go back and try new things. Really good AYCE! One of the best AYCE places I've tried. The sashimi is great, especially the salmon. The only thing slightly disappointing was the hand roll since the seaweed was too chewy, but besides that everything was good. Service was decent. The ambiance might not be as nice as other places, but don't let that deter you. And for the second round of sashimi ordered, we received salmon cuts that look like it's at or near the belly! Excited to try a new (reopened) AYCE sushi place in the area. Here are my current rankings as of Jan 2024:1. Sakana / Hiro tied (good mix of sushi and hot foods)2.
