“Came here for lunch and ordered the birria bowl: rice, black beans, cheese, pico de gallo, and birria meat. The birria meat was great, tasty, tender, and delicious. The combo of salsa verde and sour cream added flavor to the dish. Portion was a bit small... My gf ordered the birria taco and she felt alright with it. The place is small and cozy. However, i had better birria in queens, which biased my taste and judgement on the taste...“
“Came here looking for a quick bite and it blew my expectations away. My family got a mix of wraps, torta, and breakfast burritos. Each one was hot, the ingredients were really fresh, bacon was crispy, and they didn't skimp on avocado. Everything was simple, but done really well. For only $9.95, I got a huge torta that made two meals for me. We even got churros at the end of the meal. I recommend the one with bavarian cream. It was hot, crispy, sweet, and such a delicious churro. So glad we discovered this place.“
“Wow, pleasantly surprised by this place when I walked in. Very lively with loud music and a fun bar area. There is an upstairs also when it is packed. The place of food I ordered was a bang for your buck. Fried sea food, ceviche, and more.The drinks were ok. The bartender was super friendly! “We enjoyed the food and amazing service here. The ambiance is cozy and perfect if you’re going in a date night.Also this is a BYOB place so you can get your own bottle.The Guac & chips were fresh and delicious.The tacos were good too.We also tried a new dish - Salta Patras Ceviche and it was delicious.Special mentioned to the Tres leches which wasn’t over sweet.Definitely try out this place. It deserves more spotlight.“

“First they had valet parking which made it easy to drop and enter ,the business was packed but getting seating was not bad since we made reservations which I highly recommend to do....place was goergues with so much Mexican decorations and actors with costumes which entertained the kids as well as adults many places to take pictures with for great memories....the staff were extremely friendly and always paying attention to your needs and concerns...The food was very delicious...the drinks were well prepared with many different types ....at one point my wife asked for her steak medium well but came out medium rare they took rite away and cooked it a little more with no problem the server came back and made sure it was perfect...they have a dance floor on the second level...live entertainment...wonderful music...the experience was excellent...great for birthdays....they sing happy Birthday and present you with Mexican Sombrero and ? pinata dessert .....great atmosphere....I want to thank all the staff for a memorable birthday....THAN YOU for making it special ...A+ ....guys worth the money for the experience...“
“we decided to give a chance to this halal Taco and gyro, and we are glad we did. We ordered 4 beef tacos and a side of seasoned fries. We all agree these tacos are better then Taco bell hands down. The beef was deliciously seasoned with a generous amount of topping and reasonably priced. The fries were a large portion and very well seasoned and perfect amount of salt. I suggest ordering a side of cheese dipping sauce it would pair beautifully, we'll get that next time. The menu has a lot to offer, we are excited to try other items and we'll be back soon!“

“When I find a gem, I share it! Yes, yes, yes! Hallelujah to good food! We were trying to find some tacos to eat before going home and I came across a little taco truck that I had to try! They have the pastor tacos in the traditional rotating-roster, and they were delish! I also had an elote ? with everything, and a tiny bit of the powder-picante was enough for me to get a kick of spice in my mouth that turned on all the right taste buds! The lady who took care of us was polite, fast, and so kind! I will definitely be back to try the other tacos they have!!“

Sauces and mole very good, taken seriously, obviously made with care in-house. Worth a trip, but since I live a few blocks away, it’s no burden at all. The pistachio tres leches cake also a winner. I suspect that this place would have a lot more foot traffic if it were in town near Bloomfield Ave or Watchung, but I’m happy to have it so nearby in Upper Montclair, and I hope they are a long-standing fixture here (have seen a few places coke and go in this spot). The food here stands out miles ahead of a couple of nearby Mexican options, albeit smaller menu.“

“The place offers Mexican food, unfortunately the version of tlayuda they offer is very different from the original from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Rather it is a toast with simply meat sighs but still, the flavor is rich as are the cocktails they offer. The place is very nice and the service is excellent. If you do not speak English, the staff can provide you with service in Spanish so that you can enjoy the place and feel comfortable. Without a doubt a great option for a meeting between friends.“

The burrito was substantial and satisfying, although I would have preferred a more generous serving of chips or none at all. We arrived at around noon and may have been the first people to show up for the day. Given how quiet the restaurant was, we didn't want to get our hopes up but BOY did this place deliver. As soon as we took our first bite of the complementary (and addicting) warm black bean dip with fresh, salty tortillas we knew we were in for a treat! I ordered the burrito which was loaded with the most flavorful and perfectly cooked chicken. My fiancee ordered tacos (4 per order) - 2 fish and 2 barbacoa. The tacos and salsas were super fresh and tasty. I love that they didn't try to overcomplicate anything - just extremely delicious food without the need for gastronomics and extra flair. Even though this is about a 25 minute drive from us, I definitely think we'll be making another trip back!“

We compare every taco we ever have to these, hoping to find some that will compete and they never come close.“
