“Best Greek food in NJ! We got the sampler (a selection of 4 dips and pita) and the fire feta was delicious! We also got the chicken platter and the salad alongside the well made pita really added something extra to the dish. I can't speak highly enough of this place, a must try and I'm definitely coming back. As a Greek, this truly feels the most real Greek food I've found between Manhattan and NJ and the prices are not as high as in the city. Love it!“

“I was really impressed by this place!We got the coconut shrimp bao buns to start which were absolutely delicious. The shrimp was crispy and hot and the sauce/toppings took it over the top. Perfect snack before our entrees.I got the “cheese steak” ramen and it was truly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The short rib was tender, the caramelized onions brought so much flavor. The portion was extremely generous, was only able to eat half and took the other half to go.The tres leches tiramisu is a MUST. It was perfectly decadent without being too sweet or heavy.The service from the entire staff was amazing. They were super attentive with refilling our waters, clearing dirty plates and wrapping leftovers. Every staff member that interacted with us was extremely pleasant, accommodating and welcoming.My only small complaint would be that the tables are EXTREMELY close together. Like truly a couple inches. It made it hard to have conversation at times and it was awkward when you or the table next to you had to get in or out because it was very tight.Overall, we will absolutely be back and we look forward to trying more dishes!“

Service was friendly and attention to detail was definitely practiced. The food was great. The best calamari I’ve experienced it wasn’t rubber like by any means. The lamb chops were very juicy and had a great sauce on them. Additionally the sangria was good. A pitcher goes a long way for two people. We would both strongly encourage visiting Beso.“

I didn't think we had the right octopus species in the US but they have it. Iberico jamon were just a few slices but definitely imported. “The menu is a sweet merry-go-round that licks my brain like a dish in ratatouille. This past time I indulged with The collard green melt. Think about a vegetarian Ruben without pastrami but instead an earthy perfect collard, a pepper spiced Russian dressing oozing out the sides because of my vigorous bites, and a marble rye time capsule of perfection. I licked my nubs and used the fries for plate cleaning. But... I digress. The menu always changes but it never fails. There are a couple of these brilliant finds on every new iteration. Surround all that with nice bartenders that exude the word craft, some swell bluegrass on hump day, and the aer of 1970s Missoula. it's always a jersey city staple.“

The drinks here are so well crafted. I thoroughly enjoyed my mezcal cocktail, others had the French 75 which was equally. I really wanted to get another drink or 3rd but alas time was an issue. The spread is very well flavored, with a tiny bit of a kick. I would guess it’s tomatoes, olive oil, fresh pepper, fresh garlic, & a touch of salt. The ham & cheese croquetas are delicious & creamy. The tortilla española is flavorful & comes with a little bit of greens, but I drizzled the tomato spread over it for a bit more flavor. The crema catalana was delicious. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.“

We were a bit disappointed with the chocolate chip zeppole because they were raw inside and had to be returned; however, the manager was wonderful and did not charge us for the order. There is an extensive wine list but also cocktails and beers. There were 6 of us and we felt the table was a bit small for tapas, wine flights etc. Overall the experience was a lot of fun and a great place to go with a group!“

Either way, we went in because it was close, and we had a big party of about 30-40 ppl. They not only took us in, but they also offered us a deal of $35 pp. It was a great deal. The apps were delicious, the service was fast, and the entrees were very good. Food came out fast for the number of ppl we had. The bartenders and servers went all out, and they did an amazing job. we took over that place, and they let us do our thing.Thank you all for making our family after the funeral last minute lunch stress free so we can cry, eat, drink and catch up.“
