“My family has been going to this bakery since the early 70's growing up in Holmdel. I'm now 54 and live in Highlands, and I've lived as far away as Flanders and always use Normandie for my baked goods. Food and staff are equally “
“Absolutely love this place. The bagels are delicious, it is clean, and the workers are so helpful and friendly. What i love most is the atmosphere, it is so zen and relaxing unlike any other bagel store ive been to. The woman at the front offered me a sample of her blend of tea and it was delicious so of course i bought some. 10/10 i will be back“
“We love the breads and rolls at the Carousel bakery. Their Italian rolls remind me of the rolls I used to get in Brooklyn. We find that the cakes and pastries are hit or miss, some of them not being fresh. Cookies are usually quite good.Nice people provide excellent service. Plenty of free parking. Baking is done on premise.“
“The Philly Pretzel Factory in Hazlet, NJ is awesome! The gentleman who took my order was very helpful, efficient, and answered my questions with a smile and positive attitude. Their pretzels are the best! Thank you for a great experience. I will becoming back!“
“Tried this Halal Turkish place for their all day breakfast. The platter was great and came with Omelette and bread. Loved the pot of Turkish tea that was good for two people for 4 rounds each :-).Bakery was full of fresh stuff. Everything looked to be made in store.Service was top notch. Will be back.“
“I was sold the first time I went to Guzzos. I was at the cashier and the owner came out with fresh baked cookies (raspberry filling and a dark chocolate tip), he handed me one to sample and it melted in my mouth. Best bakery in town, you won’t be disappointed.“
“While working Medic Unit #1201 yesterday on a posting reassignment in Perth Amboy, started the shift with a Breakfast Sandwich...Found this GEMS Bagels storefront in South Amboy, NJ.Ordered the usual Pork Roll, Eggs, Cheese on a Everything Bagel with SPK.Very well made sandwich that out did my last sandwich at their Hwy 35, Hazlet location...“
“Overall my experience was great. Nowadays you have so many companies that prioritize their profits over the true quality and experience that they get to give a customer, and I think that’s where capitalism truly fails. When you live in a world run by corporations offering nothing but cheap goods you’re left with a society that is utterly depressed because their lives are just full of mediocre experiences. Crumbl is different, think about getting a 6 pack of crumbl cookies, and a 6 pack of Dunkin’ Donuts, and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.Their business model is fun and exciting yet still very lucrative. Similar to the Fortnite item shop, The weekly rotation of cookies allow customers to get excited over new cookies while also giving them a sense of urgency to try these cookies before it’s too late! All in all I had a great experience with the service, delivery, and food quality, and this is a super high score I would rarely give out but crumbl goes above and beyond to ensure that the customer has a happy and fun experience with their food and that is something the world needs more of, i am giving them a solid rating of 9.4/10“
“One of the best bakeries in NJ. You cannot go wrong with a single item. The fruit and cream brioches are my favorite. They are topped with seasonal fruit and are so fresh. The coconut cream donut may have been the best donut I’ve ever had. The scones are so delicious. The macarons are another favorite. Unique flavors and they are the size of your palm. I travel over an hour (each way) to get here and I promise you it’s worth the trip!“
“Typical Jersey diner. Filled with a ton of people, and it had a robust menu. Food was good for the most part. Eggs were cold and pork roll was not made well done as asked. Server did offer to replace them.Speaking of the server, she seemed to be very shy and quiet, but she did a great job checking in and making sure my needs were served.Atmosphere is OK. Nothing special. Just made for people to eat and get out. That’s the Jersey Way.“
