“Poole Ave Bar is our spot. We stop by twice a week for some food and drinks, but most of all the laughs from the characters that frequent the bar. And, there are some characters... but it's what makes this spot enjoyable. It's a townie bar where everyone ends up knowing your name. Everyone is super friendly, including the staff. Food is decent.“
“Both the food and drink menu were carefully crafted with a great combination of flavors and options for everyone. The French onion soup was served hot and creamy, the churro waffle croissant was so light and well balanced. The pear mimosa was our favorite out of the mimosa flight. Overall very comfortable atmosphere with a lot of natural light. Service was excellent! Bonus points for being right by the water.“
“This little bar is great for dinner, drinks with friends, taco Tuesday, drinks on the porch when the weather is nice or just a random drink after work. The place is beautiful inside, and the food is delicious. I have yet to meet a staff member who is rude, inattentive or unkind in anyway. We will definitely be coming back for a long time.“

“Come here quite often for alcohol, they have a great selection for a small spot. Recently, I finally went there for a meal and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Staff was pleasant and quick with service. The only issue is the place is rather small and tables are limited.“

I have enough for lunch tomorrow. The food was delicious. I ordered the bistec encebollado, rice and beans and maduros. For those who know me, they know I'm hard to please. But baaaaby, if I say it was the bomb, it was the BOMB!! I added a note that if the maduros weren't sweet, I don't want them. Well, they were perfection!! Thank you for cooking the steak as I asked. You've got the option to sit inside or outside, which is great for any weather. The bartenders are the best in town, top-notch, always fun, friendly and inviting. They also have great live bands that really elevate the atmosphere.“
