I ordered a here during lunch time (1pm) and got a kani salad and rainbow roll. I did a pickup and they were basically empty beside one table. I typically order a kani salad every time I get sushi anywhere. While this is the largest one I've ever gotten. It is also THE WORST one I've ever gotten!!! To start. It was sweet! I'm completely confused! Sweet spicy mayo!? The color looked like a thousand island n taste wise just not good. There also wasn't any cucumber. For the rainbow roll. Eh. Two outta five stars. Stingy with the avocado but too generous with the roe. Considering there are three or four other sushi options in town, I can easily say I won't be back.

Great neighborhood Japanese restaurant with the best sushi around. Terrific Bento boxes both lunch and dinner. Also full hot menu and sushi menu with special rolls. I ordered Unagi Don luncheon and the eel was cooked perfectly. Others ordered Bentos with Salmon and Tempura with California Rolls. Everything was cooked perfectly and the Nori was just the right texture. Service is very efficient and friendly. Ambience is just right for a place like this. Many competitors but this is the best.

Overall, it was a good flavor. Im pretty basic when it comes to sushi, so i had the kamakazi roll and and a sweet potato roll with a clear soup. It was nice because the sushi was rolled in front of house. Tasted good but it fell apart when i ate it. It wasn't a tightly rolled sushi. Also, my boyfriend got a simple crab roll as well and got a tiny piece of solid kani (not shredded) so it wasn't anything to rave about. Neither was the fried ice cream unfortunately. Tasted store bought kind of? Anyways, thanks for reading!
A hidden gem in Hillsborough. This is not necessarily the "best" sushi I've had in the world, but certainly is very fresh and in my opinion, the freshest in town! Very pleased. Order well in advance, as it usually takes quite a while for your order to be made.Regarding 'atmosphere' rating - it isn't the sexiest restaurant but what the decor lacks for the food makes up for. This place is super casual. Can't knock it for atmosphere. If you want atmosphere & great food drive down the road to Aja in Montgomery & pay double the price.Vegetarian options: It's sushi - they have cucumber rolls, california rolls, seaweed salad, udon noodles.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly.Parking: Right outside!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it accessible. There is 1 front door & vestibule with another door. Best to have a person accompany the person in a wheelchair.Dietary restrictions: GF-VF- VG- Dairy-free options. Something for everyone!
