It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. “My wife and I have dined at the Saddle River Inn many times. The food and service is outstanding. Last night we had crab cake and agnolotti with white truffle cream sauce as appetizers. They were both delicious! I enjoyed the Long Island Duck with lo mein, bok choy, shiitake, scallion, crispy rice, orange hoisin sauce as my entre'e. My wife had a pork chop filet special. While she enjoyed the combination of flavors in the dish, the pork was very "chewy". When she mentioned it to our server, he said that he was aware of it. He said that it was a new dish and had to be "tweaked". He offered to replace her meal but she declined. We shared strawberry cheese cake for desert, which was excellent. Without asking, the cost of my wife's entree was taken off our bill. We were pleasantly surprised by this gracious gesture, and plan to be back soon.“

The amazing seasonings in the rice was our fave, the hummus and pita, and falafel was also great. The mint lemonade hit the spot and the lentil soup was yummy. There are only 4 parking spots behind the Pizzeria..I wound up parking across the street and patronizing the Deli as well in the process. I didn't even get all the way inside the door and was greeted immediately with a Hello, Welcome and How are You. Service was excellent and the price point was excellent. A lot of great Pizza for your money. It took me a little to find the words for this Pizza. The Crispy crust is definitely the highlight. Followed by the Sauce and Cheese. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I would get breakfast here every morning but it's at least a 15 min wait if you order any food, and there's almost always a line to order. Overall, it's a very good coffee shop and provides an excellent alternative to just the usual Dunkin and Starbucks in the area.Parking: There are only a few spots in front of the coffee shop but you can park further down past C&RC or near Ernie's, if needed.“
