I always hoped for an excellent yakatori spot near Hoboken - never would have guessed it would be a dedicated chef working over red hot coals in front of the Starbucks on Newark. This Yakitori cart is a great addition to the area, being the only one of its kind. The menu offers a delightful selection of chicken, pork, and steak skewers, each bursting with amazing flavors that evoke memories of the authentic izakayas I frequented in Japan. The combination of exceptional taste and a reasonable price point makes it a must-visit. Food is fresh and seasoned to perfection! Chef is a good guy and loves what he does. Only hesitant to recommend for the fear of patrons buying all the food before i get there! lol jk. (Sort of lol)
