Food is fresh and seasoned to perfection! Chef is a good guy and loves what he does. Only hesitant to recommend for the fear of patrons buying all the food before i get there! lol jk. (Sort of lol)

We got yakitori here and he made it fresh in front of us. It was perfect for a cold day. It's does take a bit but it's worth it.

I always hoped for an excellent yakatori spot near Hoboken - never would have guessed it would be a dedicated chef working over red hot coals in front of the Starbucks on Newark. Bless this man.I ordered 2 mushroom skewers & one chicken. Was VERY VERY good. Like, I haven't had skewers this good since hitting up that Michelin star Yakatori spot in the city (I do hope they still exist, its been a while).Admittedly, I've passed by him MANY times before making a purchase. I was always either on my way to a lunch with someone in the city or on my way back from one. This time, funnily enough, I was coming back from having handrolls at a nice place. You'd figure I'd be Japan'd out - nope - there was capacity and I had put it off long enough. Was very much worth it. Don't make the same mistake I did, just go for it.It does take time for him to do his magic - he suggested in the future that I could get the order going in advance by sending a message on Instagram. Will take him up on that next time - especially when it's freezing out.

This Yakitori cart is a great addition to the area, being the only one of its kind. The menu offers a delightful selection of chicken, pork, and steak skewers, each bursting with amazing flavors that evoke memories of the authentic izakayas I frequented in Japan. The combination of exceptional taste and a reasonable price point makes it a must-visit. As a fan of Japanese cuisine, I can't help but hope to see more places like this sprouting up in Hoboken, or perhaps even full-fledged shops, to further satisfy our cravings for this delectable fare.

Been wanting to visit for a while ever since I've discovered it on Instagram and happened to be in Hoboken on Wednesday. I got chicken thigh, oyster and gizzard. Everything was so flavorful and juicy! I was really full afterwards. And Justin was very nice if you had any questions! I'll definitely come back to try other things on the menu. 3 chicken skewers came out to $11.50.

Justin is great at making yakitori no doubt, and willing to address any special requests. The taste is delicious and comparable to some of the famous yokitori places I visited in NYC and much cheaper for obvious reasons. It is right next to Starbucks so if you wish you can grab a drink while he prepares your order.Believe it or not, this is the only yakitori place in Hoboken, and I hope he can open his own shop here someday.

Delicious food and great service from Yakitori Chef Justin! Worth the wait and elevates grilled skewers to an art form. There's a great buzz from the crowd which makes this food cart a must-try.

I had the best grilled chicken of my life from Erotori and I am not exaggerating! Chef Justin knows exactly how to make it moist and juicy and put the right sauces. I ordered a filet, thigh, breast, a zucchini skewer, & rice for just $15. The quality of everything makes this meal such a steal! I’m counting down the days he’s back so I can try the steak (which sold out before I got there). This food cart is a must-try!
