Overpriced for what you get, small sandwiches that are not fresh.

Very small place, really it’s to go. There are a couple of chairs inside. We went here to get hot chocolate and I was disappointed. All I tasted was frothy milk. The cocoa powder was not dissolved and so I was drinking something gritty. They had not spoons, I stirred with a flimsy straw. It really had no flavor. I glanced and the sandwiches which were a focaccia square with some sliced meat -$17. Ridiculous price! I just had brunch, a huge plate, from a restaraunt up the street with 2 sides for $17. It’s just not worth it.

Prato is delicious. I often get delivery and have tried both the new heights location and the original. They’ll make you anything you ask for so I’m posting this review since Narshima is an idiot and gave them 1 star.Nice haircut you dork, do us a favor and stay in California.

Stop 240. I’ve wanted to come here forever and finally made the plunge.

A touch of Europe in Hoboken. Unlike the big chain coffee shops, Prato gives you the civilized experience that you find in Europe; a wonderful cup of coffee in a real ceramic coffee cup with a biscotti on the side. It has become our go to place for our morning coffee. The focaccias and pastries all look delicious, but the mortadella with pistachio spread is heavenly. Just wish we had more time as I would have loved to try some others. Knowing what they offer will ensure we go back the next time we're in NJ.

All their focaccia sandwiches are incredibly delicious! They will make you feel, like you are in Tuscany. You must try the brutti buoni as well! They are the perfect coffee snack, if you like almonds (but all cantucci are great).
First time I ever stopped in Prato, the sandwiches are amazing. Quality is as fresh as it gets. Super friendly staff. Wish I took a picture because I can’t put it into words. Everything you’d want in a local go-to breakfast/lunch spot, they really bring Italy to Washington St.

The menu was not clear. I ended up getting a sandwich with just red peppers when I was expecting a veg sandwich with artichokes, eggplant and mushrooms as per their menu behind their counter. Very deceiving.

We used to love this place but the focaccia was completely stale the lady two times we visited. Thought it was a fluke the first time but today's bread was incredibly hard and stale. Feels and tastes like it's days old. Very disappointed

I ordered an americano to go and I'd suggest it as a first time tasting the drink. I've ordered them before at different places and not up to par. Anyway, prato's biscuits are yummy and fresh even their sandwiches at least in their JC location. There are about 2 or 3 small seatings in this location.
