Been here a couple times. never had a problem. Tonight they didn't let me in because a bouncer had poor judgement and said I was “too drunk, go grab a slice of pizza.” All of my friends I came with were really confused as to why this happened. We stood there and talked to the “owner” for a while who backed up the bouncer. I’m not one of those bots who leave bad reviews ever, but tonight, they really just messed up. Don’t recommend.Update: Fake owner proceeded to claim he owned the establishment. The original bouncer Vic was hitting on underage women, which he let in with their fake IDs.

So me and my friends go out to pig and parrot on a Friday night expecting to have a good time, meanwhile only drank about 3 beers at fat taco before hand, go to pig and parrot and only had the bouncer deny us entry for being too intoxicated and sent us off telling us to grab some pizza instead! On top of it all we’re lied to about who was under management and ownership of this establishment. I do not recommend this spot what so ever to anyone trying to have a good time. Poor judgement and piss poor employees they hire with no experience what so ever!!!

When you think of a tavern, you half expect it to be dark and smelling like old beer. This place was different. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, fresh and bright it was here. The food was delicious and the staff pleasant and accommodating. The bonus was when I found out that the margaritas I was drinking was on special that night. Oh, btw, best margarita I have ever had in NJ (I live in Florida?)

A friend of mine was there this past weekend, and stepped outside for a few minutes. His Uber was almost there and went to go back in to settle his tab. The bouncer asked for his ID and he explained he was just going to close out his tab. The bouncer said he was going to hold his license until he returned. He went in and closed out his tab and came back out, and the bouncer at first acted as if he didn't have his ID. Then the bouncer told him he would get it back if he paid him. This is EXTORTION and IDENTITY THEFT. The Uber showed up and was waiting as he was trying to get his ID back. He refused to give him any money and the bouncer played dumb again and said he didn't have his ID. WTF is going on with this place? He left and called the next day to speak to a manager or owner and spoke to a waitress and gave a description of the bouncer. She said she would have the manager call back. No one called. Why do they have thugs for bouncers? No morals at all.
A LOT has of Spanish music. Very fun if you’re into that. For me it was fine just bored of the Spanish

Don’t worry about tipping your bar tenders cause they won’t bother to help you before the deals end and try to kick you out for not wanting to pay $15 more for a drink the person next to you got for less…
