“Came here to pick up food for the second time tonight, I can say they have been absolutely amazing both times. Me and my partner got cheese flautas and my aunt got the whiskey burger. The food was exactly what we asked for and was delicious. My partner and I are vegetarian and they have lots of options for us which is awesome. Now the horchata, the large is HUGE and it is so good I didnt even want to share it lol that is how delicious it is. There was a man singing and his voice is great it made me so happy. I definitely will be coming to eat there on my birthday. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant such a hidden gem.“
“Stumbled on kitchen Tex mex when our regular Mexican place wasn’t open yet. How fortunate for us! The food is excellent and fresh and very affordable. The chips are not salty. A variety of tasty salsas. So good we went back 3 times in a week. It will be our new regular place.In those 3 visits there were few people eating. So I hope more customers enjoy this find so they don’t go out of business!“

Wait staff is great -- I noticed they'll sometimes wait a while to visit after your meal, to ask about desserts/check. But you can flag someone down easily.If ordering take out, give them an extra 15-20 minutes. My order has never been ready on time. But always delicious.“
“I’ve been going to Rico Taco for years now and have never had a bad experience. The food is always on point and the service is quick and consistent. I love going there and sitting in the dining room, the food is always fresh and delicious. Their guacamole with their homemade chips and their Colombian empanadas are my absolute favorite.Vegetarian options: They have a good amount of vegetarian options like corn smut.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and plenty of stuff for kids to eat.“

“We were out shopping and decided to grab lunch before heading home. We had our 8 month old son with us and had asked if we could get him some chicken. The owner said absolutely and even cut it up in small pieces for us. He didn’t charge us for the chicken either which was unbelievably nice. “Order takeout from this restaurant for the first time tonight. Chips and salsa were good. Chips were plentiful and thin and crispy and the salsa was chunky and juicy. I just wish they gave more salsa as we had excess chips and not enough salsa. Barbacoa chimichanga burrito was delicious and very filling. Pulled pork sliders as an appetizer were good too. Maduros were delicious. Apple empanadas were absolute favorite will definitely be ordering years with every order in the future. Only disappointing food item were the chicken tostadas. These are a staple for me at every Mexican restaurant I visit. I know each restaurant makes them different. I just didn’t prefer they were the way they were made here. This restaurant made them with chunks of grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and shredded cheese. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn’t order the chicken tostadas again in the future.“

“At 1st I thought this place would be like Chipotle, but but I think they are better they have more variety and they have desserts highly recommend the boardwalk cookies. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because I thought the meat/chicken could have a little more flavor but other than that very feeling good.“
“Service was fine, seems like staff was newer and learning the ropes which is fine because their attitude was very good. I had the Big Mouth Crispy Chicken Sandwich which was outstanding, super crispy yet juicy and tender on the inside. The sandwich comes with fries which were served hot and tasty. Overall an amazing value at $12.99. I left the restaurant full, my daughter had the same and took half of the meal home since the portion was so large.“
“Girlfriends out to lunch. We arrived early 1/2 hour after they open for the day. It was the perfect time to sit, eat, and chat with girlfriends.
