As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. The Blue Bottle Cafe has been our favorite place in NJ for almost 20 years! We have a marvelous time every time we eat there. We took a very good friend for dinner and she loved it too! I had scallops with a divine coconut curry sauce...yum!! My husband enjoyed the horseradish crusted salmon and our friend had the flatiron steak with so many beautiful mushrooms!!!! We love going to Blue Bottle Cafe! Every time we go to the Princeton, NJ area we try to eat here. The food is delicious and we can have a conversation with our friends. I had the scallops on a purée of cauliflower and veggies in a curry sauce!
